Game #1 – Wackers vs. Blue Devils

Wackers get rolling early with RBI doubles from Jay Pane and Alex Freeman before Lissa Tercha and Bill Shallcross RBI singles. Wackers will get right back to it in the second inning with six more runs. RBI doubles paced the inning as they get them from Doubles Nonny, Pane, Bill Brancato, Freeman and Jarret Kerns. Tercha also adds another RBI in the inning on a single. Blue Devils find no room in the field for any runs, not with Doubles Nonny roaming around the outfield. Wackers will keep on in the third, with RBI triples from Pane and Brancato. Nonny should have had a two run triple, but stop up short at second, must have pulled a hammy or something. Wackers will put this game away in the fourth with a massive twelve run inning. Doubles Nonny added one more double to add to his recording setting total, while Freeman had the big shot with a two run bomb. Devils muster up one run on a single in this one and will fall. Wackers win 28-1.

Brian Sauers, Taylor and Anderson have three straight RBI doubles to pace the second inning as they jump out to a 12-1 lead heading into the bottom of the inning. Wehrung’s will get three runs back on RBI singles from Erik and Jill and an RBI double from Wyatt Schilling. Eddies continue to keep the pressure on in the third, with four more runs. Taylor kept the hot bat grabbing two runs on a triple while Anderson added a run on a double.
