Game 1: TGIF vs Irish Car Bombs
This would be a relatively low scoring affair. TGIF jumped out to a quick 3-1 lead after the 1st. A few singles and then a double by Chris Hesdon doing much of the damage for TGIF. Chris Hackney led off with a double for ICB and would later score. Both teams went silent until the 4th. ICB scored 3 runs with the help of a Hackney double and a Matt Hatch triple to take a 1 run lead. Chris Hesdon was at it again in the top of the 5th this time with a 2-run triple to lead TGIF to a 6-run inning. They would add 2 more runs in the top of the 6th and ride that to the 11-6 victory.
Game 2: Trefz vs Chico's
Trefz would only score 2 runs in this game and it wouldn't be enough to win. Chico's scored 6 in the first with the help of a Bill Shipe 2-run double and a 3-run triple by Adam Roman. They'd score another in the 2nd and 6 more in the 3rd. Bryan Bart chipped in with a 2-run double. Bill Ship hit a solo homer in the 4th as Chico's would end this one 16-2.
Game 3: Throwdown vs IDC
Another low scoring game in this one. Throwdown only scored 10 runs but they weren't without some fireworks. Jon Poore had a solo homer, Bryan Peterman had a 2-run triple (game winner) and Axel Alicea added a 2-run dinger. IDC only scored 6 runs but had some homers of their own with Mark Bernacki's solo shot in the first and Jarred Gardner's solo blast in the 3rd. Throwdown takes this one late, 10-6.
Game 4: Philly Junk vs IDC
Philly Junk jumped out to a 4-run lead after a Shane Hanna bomb that made all the ladies swoon. IDC would grab 1 in the bottom of the first and then another 5 in the 3rd. Philly Junk took the lead right back the help of 5 straight extra base hits including doubles by Ryan Russell, Andy May, Shane Hanna and KC Ingram. There was also a Mike Bitterlich rainmaker was right in the middle of all that action. Jared Gardner smashed a homer of his own in the bottom of the inning that brought the score to 12-8 Philly Junk. After Philly Junk added a run in the 5th, IDC scored 8 to take the lead. That 3 run lead would hold up until the top of the 7th when Shane Hanna hit a game tying 3-run dinger. That would be how the game would end, 16 all.
