Week 3 - 4/12/24

Game 1: Lady Birds vs. Red Stallion

LB bats around in the top of the first to get seven runs on doubles by James McLaughlin, Anthony Crawford, and Joe Pittman, Sr, and a Jason McLaughlin solo homer. A leadoff double by Casey Long nets RS a run in the bottom of the first. James McLaughlin and Anthony Crawford blast wo run homers for LB in the top of the second. LB scores seven runs in the top of the third thanks to singles, a Justin Miller RBI double, and a two run triple by James Mclaughlin. LB bats around again in the top of the fourth to score TWELVE runs on singles, and RBI doubles by James McLaughlin and Justin Miller. The Lady Birds destroy Red Stallion, 30-1.

Game 2: Man Bear Pigs vs. Monsters & Menthols

A double by Josh Sovocoi helps MBP get a run in the top of the first. MAM bats around in the bottom of the first to put up SEVENTEEN runs on errors, singles, doubles by Roc Akers, Alex Freeman, Bill Brancato, Eric Schade, and Carmen Brancato, a Mark Cooper triple, and a three run homer by Bill Brancato. MAM bats around again in the bottom of the second to push nine runs across on singles, and RBI doubles by Alex Freeman and Eric Schade. MBP adds another run in the top of the third. Monsters & Menthols decimate Man Bear Pigs, 27-4.

Game 3: Philly Philly vs. Man Bear Pigs

PP gets on the board with a run in the top of the first. MBP answers in the bottom of the first with five runs on a Joe F double, and a Chris H three run homer. Two runs cross the plate for PP in the top of the second thanks to a Jack Stoop RBI double, and a triple by Scott Gethart. PP picks up five runs in the top of the third with a three run homer by Scott Gerhart. Joe Chung blasts a solo homer for PP in the top of the fourth. Back to back doubles by Justin Glennon and Jamie Glennon lead to a run for MBP in the bottom of the fourth. MBP scores six runs in the bottom of the fifth courtesy of a triple by Justin Glennon, and a Chris H three run homer. PP takes the lead in the top of the seventh with two runs thanks to an Ian Cuozzo RBI triple. Chris H steps to the plate in the bottom of the seventh and rips the game winning single for MBP. MBP walks it off over PP, 13-12.

Game 4: Sinister vs. Hagan’s Heroes

KC Ingram smashes a two run homer for Sinister in the top of the first. Chase Luxton and Ryan Goodman blast homers for HH in the bottom of the first. Singles lead to three runs for Sinister in the top of the second. Jay Pane smokes an RBI triple for HH in the bottom of the second. Five more runs cross the plate for HH in the bottom of the third with Jay Pane smoking a bases loaded triple. An RBI double by KC Ingram helps Sinister score three runs in the top of the fifth. HH bats around in the bottom of the fifth to plate eight runs on singles. HH finishes it early with six more runs in the bottom of the sixth on more singles, and a double by Chase Luxton. Hagan’s Heroes takes down Sinister, 25-10.
