Game #1 – Sultan’s vs. Mean Machine

Sultan’s come out swinging to the tune of four runs. Bill Hamlet, Jess McCory and Tori Williams have RBI singles, while Josh Owens knocks in a run on a fielder’s choice. Sultan’s will grab one more run in the third on an Andy Yurkanin RBI single before Machine get rolling in the fifth. Jeff Chung will add a run on a single and Ian Cuzzo will smash a three-run bomb. Back come the Sultan’s grabbing two more runs on an Andrew Werkheiser two run single. They will add four more runs in the sixth on a Mike Liddy two run single and RBI doubles from Werkheiser and Shane Stewart. Machine will get back four runs of their own in the sixth. Corey Van Fossen and Ron Ducko smash back to back RBI doubles and Cuzzo smashes a solo bomb. In the end, it would not be enough as they fall short by two. Sultans win 12-10.

Game #2 – The Maize vs. Quality Landscaping

The Maize looks to keep grinding and they do grabbing four runs right out of the gate. Aaron Worthington knocks in two runs on a double, while Wil Das knocks in a run on a single. Quality will get two runs back on a two-run homer from Philip McCusker. Quality will tie this game up in the third on a McCusker RBI double and Randy Munn RBI triple. Maize grabs three more runs in the fourth on a three-run bomb from Worthington. Maize will grab three late insurance runs from Kelinschmidt and Das as they will shut it down defensively and win this one. Maize wins 10-3.

Game #3 – Quality Landscaping vs. Domenick’s

Last game of the night gets rolling with Quality looking for a little revenge. They will start off strong getting four runs on an RBI single from Mason Ebersole and RBI double from Alec Hoxsey. They will catch fire in the second inning getting six runs. Dan and Philip McCusker have back-to-back RBI singles, while Randy Munn crushes a three-run bomb. Domenick’s will struggle in this one only netting three total runs off an Eric Rosenbulm RBI single and Rob Schuh two run double. Quality will keep it rolling in the fourth and fifth with four more runs. Ragan Ebersole had a two run double and Daniel McCusker had an RBI single. Quality will grab a couple more runs in the sixth to ice this game. Randy Munn and Peyton Baldwin have RBI singles as they will win this one easily. Quality wins 18-3.
