Game #1 – Wehrung’s vs. The Runs

Wehrung’s will get this one going with three runs out of the gate. Bobby Snyder and Adam Hendricks hit back-to-back singles to set up the three-run bomb off the bat of Luke Hendricks. Runs will respond back in the bottom of the inning with one run of their own on an Erik Cusano RBI single. Runs will grab the lead in the second inning getting three runs in total and taking a 4-3 lead. Rebecca Brennan grabs two runs on a double while Bobby Ridenour grabs a run on a single. Wehrung’s will grab another two runs in the third, getting an RBI single from Lowell Snyder and sac fly from Adam Hendricks. Both teams would be quiet in the fourth inning before Wehrung’s eruption for seven runs in the fifth. Luke Hendricks and Lowell Snyder added two runs on singles, while Wyatt Schilling delivers the big shot with a two-run bomb. Wehrung’s will add on some late insurance runs as they win easily. Wehrung’s win 16-4.

Game #2 – Poco’s vs. Domenick’s

The second game of the night started with a five-run inning for Poco’s grabbing runs on an RBI double from Tony Cabot, RBI triple from Ryan Hamilton and two runs on a single from Eric Schade. They will add five more runs in the third after putting up nothing in the second. This was highlighted by a two run single from Kris Eve and another run added on a Jeff Hess single. Domenick’s will struggle in this one only grab three runs in its entirety. Rob Schuh and Ray Barry add RBI’s for Domenick’s. Poco’s will get back on the scoring train having a massive inning in the fourth. They will score nune runs total and end this game early. Bill Hamill, Brenda Burns and Tyler Stone have back-to-back to back RBI singles while, Tony Cabot smashes a three-run bomb. Poco’s will keep a hot stick all game and coast to victory. Poco’s win 19-3.

Game #3 – Mean Machine vs The Maize

Mean Machine starts off with a three-run bomb off the bat of Ian Cuzzo as they jump out to a quick lead. Maize comes back in the bottom of the inning with two runs of their own from a Christian Hazlett and Will Das. Neither team can come up with any runs in the second inning before we head to the third. Cuzzo is back at it again with an RBI single this time making this a 5-2 game. Maize will grab one more run in the bottom of the inning with a Bob Garges RBI single. Garges will come back in the fourth, fight back and take the lead. Matt Bagenhagen smashes a two-run bomb, while Wil Das nets one on a single. Maize will tack on one more run in the fifth on a Keith Bellinger single. Mean Machine will then take the upper hand and take the lead in the sixth. Harrison Leal had an RBI double, while Jeff Chen knocks in a run on a single. Maize will grab one run on an Austin Grasso RBI triple to tie this game up in the seventh. That is unfortunately the end of the game as we will run out of time. This game will end in a tie to end the week.
