Game 1: Lady Birds vs. Hagan’s Heroes

LB takes the early lead in the top of the first with three runs thanks to a leadoff double by Jason McLaughlin. A double by Jay Pane and a Tom Koelzer solo homer help HH get three runs in the bottom of the first. A leadoff triple by Gary Thompson helps HH put up two runs in the bottom of the second. LB adds two runs in the top of the third on singles. HH scores four runs in the bottom of the third on singles, and a two run double by Wayne Horger, Jr. LB plates two runs in the top of the sixth. Hagan’s Heroes squeaks by the Lady Birds, 9-8.

Game 2: Sinister vs. Monsters & Menthols

Brandon Birkhead smashes a three run homer for Sinister in the top of the first. MAM answers with six runs in the bottom of the first on singles, and double by Sean Nonemacher, Bill Brancato, and Adam Lightkep. Sinister puts up five runs in the top of the second thanks to back to back RBI doubles by KC Ingram and Brandon Birkhead. Three runs cross the plate for MAM in the bottom of the third. Brandon Birkhead blasts a two run homer for Sinister in the top of the fifth. MAM plates six runs in the bottom of the fifth on singles, a two run double by Eric Schade, and an Alex Freeman two run homer. Monsters & Menthols tops Sinister, 15-11.
