Final Score: Sprouse Electric 13 vs. Candlewyck Bar & Grill 8
Candlewyck got out to a fast start in the top of the 1st with all 8 of their first batters getting on base, resulting in 6 runs in the 1st frame. Sprouse could not respond in the bottom of the 1st, as they could not get a run across. The rest of the game was a different story. Candlewyck was only able to score twice more throughout the remaining duration of the game. Sprouse was able to consistently push across runs, tallying up 13 runs over the final 5 innings and winning the game 13-8.

In their 2nd game of the morning, Sprouse Electric was able to come away with their 2nd win of the day, amazingly by the same final score of 13-8. Sprouse was once again able to rely on consistent hitting, by scoring runs in 5 of their at-bats and 4 or more in 2 of those innings. The Naturals struggled to string together base runners through the 1st 5 frames, resulting in only 3 runs going into the 5th. In the 5th, they were able to push across 5 runs, but it proved to be too little too late.

This was a very tight game throughout the 1st 5 frames. Do Work went into the 6th inning with an 8-6 lead. In the top of the 6th they were able to add onto that lead with 5 more runs, giving them a 13-6 lead. They looked to be in a great position to win the game… Then the bottom of the 6th rolled around… Rolling Rocks offense exploded for 14, I repeat 14 runs!!! In the bottom of the 6th. This gave them a 20-13 lead and Do work was not able to respond in their final at bat.

Both teams remained neck and neck through the entirety of this game, with a 9-9 tie game after 5 innings. After both teams came to bat in the 6th, the Hitmen were able to secure a 12-10 lead heading into the final frame. In the Top of the 7th, Hitmen were able to put together 3 hits, but the big hit never came, resulting in 0 insurance runs. The Muddogs were ready for their opportunity in the bottom of the 7th, pushing across the 3 runs they needed for the win, with a walk-off Sac Fly from Daulton Pickersgill to finish the game off.
