Game #1 – Poco’s vs. Wackers
Wackers come out rolling with a Jay Pane fielder’s choice and Bill Brancato solo bomb. Wackers come back in the second inning getting two more runs on an RBI walk from Bill Shallcross and RBI single from Dan Vescovi. Poco’s will get on the board in the third inning with a big third inning putting up a six spot. Tyler Stone will get it rolling with a two run homer, followed by a two run triple a couple of batters later. Eric Shade will round out the inning with an RBI single. Wackers do not like that Poco’s had taken the lead and come out with an even bigger third inning putting up 13 total runs. Alex Freeman and Jay Pane start the scoring with back to back RBI doubles, after Nonny reached base on a single, yes, no a typo, a single from Doubles Nonny. Tess Frelick nets two more runs on a triple while Bill Shallcross knocks in two runs on a single. Chase Luxton and Molly Rice round out the inning with RBI singles. Wackers will continue to pound the ball at the plate grabbing nine more runs across the last three innings. Doubles Nonny accounts for five RBI’s on a three-run bomb and two singles, while Vescovi adds a couple more on a double and single. Wackers will roll in this one. Wackers win 26-11.

Game #2 – The Runs vs. Wehrung’s
Runs come out with three runs right out of the gate, getting an RBI double from Bobby Ridenour and RBI single from Erik Cusano. Wehrung’s will respond back with a run of their own on a Luke Hendricks RBI single. Wehrung’s will tie it in the second on a Cindy Snyder RBI single as we stand at 3-3 after two innings. Wehrung’s will grab the lead with a solo homer in the fourth from Luke Hendricks. Runs will tie it with an RBI single from Maddie Leatherbaron, but Wehrung’s will grab it back in the bottom of the inning on a Paul Muth sac fly. Wehrung’s will take control of the game in the fifth with fourh runs. Luke Hendricks was at it again with an RBI double, while Lowell Snyder adds a run on a single. Defense mostly runs this game, but Wehrung’s will hold on for a good win. Wehrung’s win 10-6.

Game #3 – Mean Machine vs. The Runs
Runs start their second game of the night off with a four run first inning getting a Matt Kovaleski solo bomb and Erik Cusano two run triple. He would later score on an error. Mean Machine gets on the board in the second inning with a fielder’s choice from Jeff Kellog. Runs will grab two back in the second inning before having a big third inning. Kovaleski and Jade Hughes knock in runs on singles, while Cusano smashes a two run bomb. Runs continue to swing a big bat and push across another nine runs in the fourth inning as they are crusining. Kovaleski and Jason Exner knocked in runs on doubles, while Kyle Exner knocks in two runs on a triple. Errors helped with the rest of the runs as Runs will be all over the Machine in this one and take it. Runs win 20-2.

Game #4 – Knuckleheads vs. Mott-Ley Crew
Knuckleheads come out firing with six runs in the first inning. Jon Poore and Mike Koezler get it started with back to back RBI singles followed by RBI singles from Pierre Girin and L Wood later in the inning. Crew will come out firing like Knuckleheads, but they come out with one of the biggest innings in SBA history pushing across 15 total runs. Jon Motts started it with a two run triple, followed by back to back RBI singles from Ian Kacergis and Tom Finn. Justin Ruth will knock two in before Carl Motts clears the bases with a triple. Anthony Rapposelli, Finn and Ruth will round out the inning with RBI singles. Knuckleheads look to battle back in the second and get a two run bomb off Poore’s bat. Crew come back again, with four runs of their own. Carl Motts gets two runs on a single while Kacergis and Finn grab two more runs on singles. Crew will keep it rolling with five more runs across the next three innings as they will end up rolling in this one after the big first inning. Crew win 24-14.
