Game 1: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Lady Birds
A double by Keith Keppley helps HH get two runs in the top of the first. Justin Miller rips an RBI double for LB in the bottom of the first. HH bats around in the top of the third to score four runs on singles. A leadoff triple by Keith Keppley helps HH pick up two runs in the top of the fourth. LB plates three runs in the bottom of the fourth with a two run double by James McLaughlin. LB bats around in the bottom of the sixth to push four runs across thanks to singles, and a Jason McLaughlin double. The Lady Birds squeak by Hagan’s Heroes, 10-9.
Game 2: Unhinged vs. Man Bear Pigs
Cason Condron blasts a two run homer for Unhinged in the top of the first. MBP answers with three runs in the bottom of the first on a Chris Hosington double, and a Steve Sovocol triple. Unhinged adds two runs in the top of the second. Unhinged scores five runs in the top of the third on errors, singles, and a Corey Wambold double. MBP gets two more runs in the bottom of the fourth. John Erb jacks a solo homer for Unhinged in the top of the fifth. MBP gets four more runs in the bottom of the fifth on singles. Walks and singles lead to three runs for Unhinged in the top of the sixth. Unhinged tops Man Bear Pigs, 14-9.
Game 3: Aces of Bases vs. Philly Philly
Tom B smokes a triple in the top of the first as AOB gets three runs. Jack Stoops rips an RBI double for PP in the bottom of the first. AOB bats around in the top of the fifth to score seven runs thanks to singles, doubles by Ryan Marcino and Larry Kirschner, and an Austin Grosso two run homer. Singles net PP a run in the bottom of the fifth. AOB bats around again in the top of the sixth to plate six runs on singles, an Austin Grosso RBI double, and back to back two run doubles by Tommy B and Andrew Werkheiser. PP rallies for seven runs on singles, triples by Jack Stoops and Glen Hipple, and a Paige Malanga two run homer. Aces of Bases out slugs Philly Philly, 17-11.
Game 4: Monsters & Menthols vs. Sinister
A leadoff triple by Sean Nonemacher nets MAM a run in the top of the first. Brandon Birkhead smashes a two run homer for Sinister in the bottom of the first. MAM bats around in the top of the second to score eight runs on singles, doubles by Sean Nonemacher and Alex Freeman, and an Eric Schade two run homer. Sinister adds a run in the bottom of the third. MAM picks up six runs in the top of the fourth thanks to singles, a Mark Cooper RBI double, and a two run triple by Eric Schade. Bill Brancato blasts a two run homer for MAM in the top of the fifth. Brandon Birkhead jacks a three run homer for Sinister in the bottom of the fifth. Monsters & Menthols takes care of Sinister, 19-8.
