Game #1 – The Runs vs. Quality Landscape
The Runs come out rolling with a leadoff bomb off the bat of Jason Exner giving them the early 1-0 lead. Quality would come back in the bottom of the inning with two runs on a bomb off the bat of Daniel McGusker. The Runs will tie this up in the third on an RBI single from Bobby Ridenour as defense paces the inning. Runs will grab the lead in the fourth after an Ann Balash two run double, but Quality landscape comes right back with two runs of their own. Phil McGusker knocked in a run on a triple and Mason Ebersole knocked in a run on a double. We fast forward to the seventh where Runs grab six runs. Ann Balash was back at it, this time with a two run double and Jon Suchm nets two runs on a single. Quality fight back and grab four runs in the bottom of the inning. Peyton Baldwin and Ragan Ebersole net runs on singles and Alex Hoxsoy brings in two runs. It is too little too late as they will fall. The Runs win 11-9.

Game #2 – Dominick’s vs. Mean Machine
Second game gets rolling with a two run inning for Mean Machine. Scott Gerhart and Natalin Jablokor have RBI singles in the inning. Dominicks respond in the bottom of the inning with three runs of their own. Kevin Udris accounts for two of their runs on a single as they take a 3-2 lead. Neither team would score until the fourth when Roy Jones knocks in two runs on a double. Bob Cullman nets them another run on a single. Defense will continue to dominate the game as we don’t see another run until the sixth. Dominicks grab four runs in the sixth. Stefano Guiliani knocks in a run on a single followed by two runs on a Janice Tansits hit. Erik Rosenblum will round out the inning with a sac fly. This gave Dominick’s a two run lead heading into the bottom of the seventh. Mean Machine will go down 1,2,3 as Dominick’s steal this one late. Dominick’s win 7-5.
