Game #1 – Poco’s vs. Knuckleheads
Poco’s get rolling with a run in the first inning on a sac fly from Dominick Campellone. Rich Zupkusky evens the game up in the bottom of the inning with a solo bomb. Poco’s will grab the lead back in the top of the second on a Lauren DeGrushe RBI single, setting up a Chelsea Detweiler two run single. Mike Marnarch then grabs a run back in the bottom of the inning on a sac fly making it a 4-2 game. Detweiler was back at it again in the fourth with a run on a fielder’s choice setting up a two run triple from Mark Bernacki. Knuckleheads will get two runs back on a two run bomb off the bat of Pierre Girin as they make this a 7-5 game. Knuckleheads will bring this game back to even with a John Schofield sac fly and Jose Rodriguez RBI triple. They will finally break through and take the lead with a Monarch sac fly. Poco’s will grab the lead in the seventh on a couple of singles and errors as they lead 9-8. Knuckleheads will get back on top in the bottom of the inning after a Zupkusky solo bomb and Girin RBI single. Girin walks this one off and Poco’s steals the win. Knuckleheads win 10-9.

Game #2 – Wackers vs. Mott-Ley Crew
Wackers will get rolling with back to back RBI singles from Bill Brancato and Jay Pane. Crew will get one run back in the bottom of the inning of a Marcus Gibson RBI single. Wackers will grab two runs across the second and third innings on a fielder’s choice from Dan Vescovi and RBI hit from Pane. Wackers will really increase their lead in the fourth when they double their output to eight runs. Doubles Nonnyyyyyy knocks in a run on a single while Tess Frelick knocks in two runs on a single. Justin Ruth will get a run back for Crew, but it would be tough sledding for Crew in this one. Wackers will have a big fifth inning where they bat around and score eleven total runs. Vescovi knocked in two more runs with a single, while Lissa Tercha and Doubles noneneMacher knock in a run on singles. Brancato will also net two runs on a double. Wackers finish strong and win this one easy. Wackers win 19-3.

Game #3 – Pinball Wizards vs. Altek
Pinball Wizards get rolling with two runs in the first. Sean Flannery will get credit for an RBI with a single. Altek will match that and double it grabbing four runs in the first inning. Brandon Smith will get an RBI single followed by a two run triple from Jared Taylor. Chris Lento will also knock in a run on a sac fly. Wizards will grab the lead in the second with a two run double from Dave Muscatell and RBI double from Dan O’Hara. Altek will trail until the third when Altek grabs five more runs. Kevin Cwikla will knock in two runs on a double, but Brandon Smith will deliver the big blow with a three run bomb. Altek will grab a couple more runs on another RBI double from Cwikla and then a sac fly from Smith. Wizards try to hang around with RBI singles from Flannery and Jon Halcovage as well as an RBI triple from Roc Akers. Altek will stay hot, especially Smith who smashes another homer, another three run homer. Altek will hold off a late push and take the win. Altek wins 15-12.

Game #4 – The Maize vs. The Sillies
The final game of the night gets rolling with three runs out of the gate from Maize. Aaron Worthington will smash a two run bomb and Gary Kleinshcmidt will knock in a run on a single. Sillies will grab four in the bottom of the inning and take the lead. RBI singles from Kris Karaba and Jess McCorry as well as an RBI double from Katie Cherba do the damage. Maize get back to hitting in the second with an RBI single from Troy Klauder and a fielder’s choice as they take a one run lead. Back and forth we go as Sillies grab the lead back after some singles and a couple errors. Wil Das smashes a two run bomb in the top of the inning as they take a 9-6 lead as we head to the bottom of the third. Yet again, Sillies come back and take the lead with two separate two run bombs from Mike Liddy and George Slawter. Both teams cool down in the fourth as they don’t score any. Maize will score five in the fifth to take the lead again. Aaron Worthington will grab a run on a double and Will Marsden brings in a run on a single. Sillies will cut into the deficit and cut it to two with a Karaba RBI double and Carr RBI single as we head to the seventh. Bill Hamlet will tie the game with a solo bomb, setting up Kris Karaba to win the game. He will get on base and then score on an error as they will walk this one off. Sillies win 15-14.
