Game #1 – Wehrungs vs. Quality

Wehrungs get an early run on an RBI double from Doug Monninghoff and take a 1-0 lead. Quality will grab the lead in the bottom of the first on RBI singles from TJ Ebersole and Jess Ellick as well as an RBI triple from Mason Ebersole. Quality will grab two more runs on a two run bomb off the bat of TJ Ebersole. Wehrungs will come alive in the third inning, grabbing back to back homers from Luke Hendricks and Bobby Snyder netting them three runs. Luke Hendricks will grab another homer in the second another two run bomb which makes it a 7-6 game in favor of Wehrungs. Ebersole will give Quality the lead back with his second home run as they now lead by one. Wehrungs will really come out swinging in the fifth, grabbing five more runs. Sam Caldron and Moninghoff have back to back RBI triples, while Paul Ruth adds a run on a double. Wehrungs will put this game away in the seventh as they bring in five more runs. Bobby Snyder and Cindy Snyder both bring in two runs on singles. Wehrungs win 17-10.

Game #2 – Sandlot Legends vs. Dominicks

Legends will grab an early run on a solo bomb off the bat of Scott Gerhart. Dominicks will answer back in a big way grabbing seven runs in the bottom of the inning. Rob Schuh will start it with an RBI double followed by a Cody Miller RBI single. Kevin Urdis and Ray Barry would then bring in runs on singles, followed by a Stefano Giuliani RBI double. Dominicks will get seven more runs in the second, thanks in big part by a grand slam off Big Dawg Miller. Urdis also has a homer in the inning, but just a two-run shot since Miller had cleared the bases. Miller is back at it again in the third grabbing a run on a double. Times are tough for Legends in this one as they can only muster up one more run on an RBI triple from Karen Kalinowsky. Dominicks would finish the game strong getting six more runs in the fifth highlighted by a three run bomb from Urdis. Miller also adds another run to his total with a single. This game is all Dominicks from the beginning. Dominicks win 23-2.

Game #3 – Carrolls vs. The Sillies

Carrolls jump out to a very fast 10-0 lead in the first two innings. Greg Lesher starts the scoring with an RBI double followed by a Brian Sauers RBI single and Kevin Shinkunas RBI double. Mike Stacey will round out the inning with a homer. Greg Lesher knocks in two runs on a single in the second. Sillies will get their first run on an RBI triple from Andrew Werkheiser. But Carrolls get right back to it in the fourth. Kevin Shinkunas knocks in a run on a double and then scores on a Mike Stacey single. Sillies will respond in the bottom of the inning on a Shane two run hit and Katie Cherba two run double. Carrolls will just keep on hitting in this one thought which is bad news for Sillies. Carolls add six runs in the last inning on RBI doubles from Shipe and Hallie Bilker and RBI singles from Bob McClintock and Lesher. Carrolls win 22-11.
