A Division

Quarry

Game 1: Saints & Sinners vs. Silverbacks

SAS puts up two runs in the top of the first thanks to an RBI double by Frank Staber, and a Bill Brancato RBI triple. The Silverbacks answer with two runs in the bottom of the first with a leadoff double by Carlos Gonzalez. SAS adds a run in the top of the second. The Silverbacks bat around in the bottom of the second to score six runs on singles, and doubles by Carlos Gonzalez and Ben Haggen. The Silverbacks plate four runs in the bottom of the third on RBI doubles by Rob McKenna and Scott Castner, and a Chris Haggen triple. The Silverbacks top Saints & Sinners, 12-4.

Game 2: Dirty Dozen vs. Silverbacks

Brian Dart blasts a three run homer for DD in the top of the first. The Silverbacks bat around in the bottom of the first to pick up four runs thanks to RBI doubles by Ben H and DJ Ellars, and a Rob McKenna two run triple. Singles net DD two runs in the top of the second. More singles lead to three runs for DD in the top of the fifth. The Silverbacks push three runs across on singles in the bottom of the fifth. DD bats around in the top of the seven th to score four runs on singles, and doubles by Mike Ivers and Brian Dart. Dirty Dozen downs the Silverbacks, 14-9.

Game 3: Bird Gang vs. Tight Mitts

BG puts up three runs in the top of the first on back to back to back doubles by Pat McKay, Justin Miller, and Jason White. TM answers with four runs in the bottom of the first on walks, singles, and a Sean Duckworth RBI double. Jason McLaughlin blasts a three run homer for BG in the top of the second. BG puts up five runs in the top of the third with a Joey Pittman RBI double, and a two run triple by Wayne Horger, Jr. Joey Pittman smokes an RBI triple for BG in the top of the fourth. Sean Morris jacks a three run homer for TM in the bottom of the fourth. BG adds six runs in the top of the fifth on singles, and a Pat McKay bases loaded triple. Bird Gang beats up on Tight Mitts, 22-9.

Game 4: Doom Cats vs. Philly Junk

DC takes the early lead with a run in the top of the first. A leadoff triple by Tom Ivers helps PJ score three runs in the bottom of the first. A triple by Jimmmy Craig leads to a run for DC in the top of the second. DC plates three runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI doubles by Zach Martin and Andrew Parker. Pat Kelley jacks a two run homer for PJ in the bottom of the third. Zach Martin rips an RBI double for DC in the top of the fifth. PJ bats around in the bottom of the sixth to pick up five runs on singles, and doubles by Tom Ivers and Shane Hanna. DC rallies for three runs in the top of the seventh thanks to back to back RBI triples by Zach Martin and Andrew Parker. Pat Kelley ties the game in the bottom of the seventh with a homer for PJ. Three batters later, Greg Thompson walks it off for PJ with a game winning single. Philly Junk beats the Doom Cats in dramatic fashion, 14-13.

B South

Groveland

Game 1: Christian Clout Chasers vs. Candlewyck

CCC plates three runs in the top of the first on singles, and doubles by Evan Zehren and Dylan K. Candlewyck answers with a run in the bottom of the first. Charles and Nat Evans blast homers for CCC in the top of the third. Candlewyck adds four runs in the bottom of the thrid with a leadoff double by Dave Graves. Doubles by Charles and Ken B lead to four runs for CCC in the top of the fourth. Marc McKinney blasts a three run homer for Candlewyck in the bottom of the fourth. Evan Zehren and Nate Evans smash two run homers for CCC in the top of the fifth. Charles rips a three run double for CCC as four runs cross the plate in the top of the sixth. Candlewyck rallies for two runs in the bottom of the sixth on walks and singles. The Christian Clout Chasers take care of Candlewyck, 23-13.

Cedar Hill

Game 2: Do Work vs. Chroma

DW bats around in the top of the first to plate six runs on a lot of walks. Enver Tejada blasts a three run homer for Chroma in the bottom of the first. DW picks up three runs in the top of the second on singles, and doubles by Adam Allman and Derek Strowhouer. DW picks up five runs in the top of the sixth on errors singles, and a Jesse Faller RBI double. Do Work beats up on Chroma, 16-3.

Game 3: Do Work vs. Bats All Folks

DW bats around in the top of the first to pick up eight runs on singles, and homers by Jesse Faller and Craig Davis. BAF answers with two runs on singles in the bottom of the first. DW adds six runs in the top of the second thanks to singles, and doubles by Adam Allman and Jesse Faller. Scott Chmura smashes a three run homer for DW in the top of the third. Derek Strowhouer launches a solo homer for DW in the top of the fifth. BAF rallies for a run in the bottom of the fifth. Do Work beats up on Bats All Folks, 21-5.

Game 4: Bats All Folks vs. Balls of Fury

Walks and singles lead to three runs for BAF in the top of the first. BOF answers with four runs in the bottom of the first on singles. BAF plates four runs in the top of the fourth thanks to singles. BOF adds two runs in the bottom of the fourth on errors and singles. BAF scores four runs in the top of the sixth with a double by Matt Dietrich. Back to back doubles by Angelo Capicolli and Julius Lyons give BAF two runs in the top of the seventh. Bats All Folks takes down Balls of Fury, 16-7.
