Birds of War VS Dead Ringers
Birds of War jump out to the lead off a Matt Jacobsen double to start the game off but are shut down from farther runs by good defense from Dead Ringers. Ringers grab the lead with a two run Home Run from Jose Pittman, but Birds of War makes a play at the plate to end the inning and hold them to two. The second sees Dead Ringers add one of a sac fly from Brock Nestory but then Birds of Wars finally score runs in the third with 5 of their own off a solo Home Run from Tom Bush, rbi singles from Sunny Rey and Chris Dayand two rbi double from Sam Calderon. Dead Ringers grab two more with another Jose Pittman 2 run Home Run in the bottom of the third. The fourth sees Tom Bush and Justin Kneebone go back to back on solo shots for Birds of War to extend to a 8-5 lead but Dead Ringers grab the lead with 5 runs, with a solo Home Run from Larry Dalessandro, rbi single from Randy Brymer, and Jose Pittman’s third Home Run of the game, this time a three run shot. Not to be outshined, Birds of War put 5 up themselves, with a two rbi single from Matt Jacobsen, 2 rbi double from Justin Kneebone, and sac fly from Chris Day. Dead Ringers fights right back with a rbi double from Jared Saias and rbi single from Eric Katz to cut the lead to one. The sixth sees Birds of Wars add three, with RBI singles from Jay Cowen, Matt Jacobson, and Justin Kneebone, and then defense shines through and hold Dead Ringers.
Birds of War wins 16-12.

Philly’s Phinest VS Wildfire
Wildfire jumps out quick with a Mark Maria rbi double, Jim Nottingham rbi single and Tony Sanchez rbi single to take a 3-0 lead. Philly’s Phinest keep it close with two of their own on a Steve Johnson sac fly and Dave Shannon rbi single. Wildfire adds on in the 2nd with another Mark Maria rbi double, Jim Nottingham rbi single and Tony Sanchez 2 rbi double to extend to a 7-2 lead. Philly’s Phinest get two in the third off a Joe Carpino 2 run Home Run and then we have a scoreless fourth. Wildfire adds three in the 5th with a two rbi single from Jim Nottingham and rbi single from Eric Simonait. Philly’s Phinest grabs one in the fifth off a Ray Rocks rbi single and then another in the sixth off a rbi single from John Quartullo. Wildfire can’t add any in the top of the seventh, with Philly’s Phinest turning a double play with two runners on to cut them off, and we go into the bottom of the seventh with Wildfire up 10-6. Dom Rocks leads Philly’s Phinest off with a walk, Joe Carpino gets a single and then Mike Rocks hits a sac fly to get one run in. Ray Rocks gets a single and then Steve Johnson hits a three run Home Run to tie the game up at 10. After a Tony Summers double, Dave Shannon hits a walk off single to drive him in and Philly’s Phinest walks this one off.
Philly’s Phinest wins 11-10.

Wildfire VS The Ones
The Ones get two in the first off, a Jarrett Kerns RBI triple and Richie Zupkusky rbi single before we have a scoreless second. Wildfire gets one in the third off a Jim Nottingham rbi single for the only run of the inning. The Ones get two in the fourth, with a Jarret Kerns two run Home Run but then we have a scoreless fifth, with only one single between both teams, before Wildfire grabs the lead in the sixth. They get an RBI single from Eric Simonait, two RBI double from Josh Torres, and an RBI single from Tom Orlando to grab a 5-4 lead going into the bottom of the sixth. The Ones come out strong, with an RBI double from Ryan Kerns followed by an RBI single from Jarrett Kerns and then a 2 run Home Run from Richie Zupkusky to take an 8-5 lead. Wildfire is able to add one with an Eric Simonait rbi double but fall short and The Ones take this low scoring game.
The Ones win 8-6.
