Forfeit Win for The Ones
The Ones VS Philly’s Phinest
We start the game off with a Zach RBI single, two runs on an error from Richie Zupkusky’ s single, and a Mike Oakes sac fly to have the ones jump out 4-0. Philly’s Phinest gets one back on a Steve Johnson rbi single, but The Ones erupt in the second. Chase Hensman cracks a triple, Buddy Schwartz gets the rbi single, Ryan Kerns knocks one in with an RBI single, and Jarrett Kerns clears them all with a 3 Run Home Run. Richie Zupkusky follows it immediately with a triple, and then trots home on a sac fly from Scott Flaherty to go up 11-1. A scoreless 3rd and 4th have us snoozing, but then Philly’s Phinest grabs two in the 5th off a Sean Boyle single and error and then a Brian Hilbert rbi on a Fielder’s Choice. They get one more in the 6th on a Mike Rocks Jr Fielder’s Choice but then The Ones put it out of reach with two more on a Richie Zupkusky rbi double and Scott Flaherty sac fly to put it out of reach.
The Ones win 13-4.

Philly’s Phinest VS Birds of War
Birds of War holds Philly scoreless in the first and then grab two off of RBI singles from Tom Bush and John Laino. Philly’s Phinest gets a monster solo shot from Steve Johnson in the second, but Birds of War gets it right back with a Justin Kneebone rbi single. Birds of War extends the lead in the third with a Ryan Thompson run scored on an error to take a 4-1 lead, but then Philly’s Phinest comes alive. The Fourth starts with a Joe Carpino solo Home Run, then a ray rocks, Dave Shannon, John Quartallo, Brian Hilbert and Shawn Dougherty RBI Singles, a 3 run RBI single from Sean Boyle, and a sac fly from Dominic Rocks gives them the 10-4 lead and flips the script quick. Birds of War isn’t phased though, and they answer right back. They get a two rbi double from Jay Cohen, rbi single from Ryan Thompson, and two rbi single from Alex Olemda, and then tie it up with a Ryan McAvery rbi single as well. Philly’s Phinest is held scoreless in the 5th and Birds of War comes out still hot, scoring 8 more runs, with a 3 Run Home Run from Jay Cohen, solo Home Run from Tom Bush, rbi singles from Sunny Rey, Alex Olmeda, and Ryan McAvery to cap an 8 run inning and take an 18-10 lead. Pitching and Defense dominate the next two innings, and that score stands.

Balls Deep knows they can’t waste time and jump out to a 309 lead on a two-run home run from Tim Frey and rbi single from Nick Carl. They add another with an RBI double from Jared Taylor in the second before Birds of War crosses the plate with a John Laino rbi single in the bottom of the second. Balls Deep gets a big third inning, with rbi singles from Conner Quinn, Ken Huber, and Josh Carl, before rbi doubles from Jared Taylor and Bob Stanley and then cap the inning off with a rbi single from Tim Frei and 2 run Home Run from Tim Gluck. They add one more in the fourth off a rbi double from Will Schulz before Birds of War comes storming back. The bottom of the fourth sees Birds of War crosses the plate 8 times, with a rbi triple from Tom Bush and John Laino, rbi single from Alex Olmeda followed by a two rbi triple from Zach Schrum and rbi single from Austin Devlin. Jay Cohen caps off the inning with a two run Home Run and cuts Balls Deep’s lead down to 14-9. Balls Deep wont score again and Birds of War adds two in the sixth with rbi singles from Jay Cohen and Justin Kneebone and go into the seventh down three. They get a leadoff single followed by a double to bring up the winning run and Sunny Rey delivers a rbi single to cut the lead to two. Alex Olmeda grounds into a routine 5-3 out, but scores John Laino to bring it within one. Balls Deep is able to hold on though and take the win.

Balls Deep VS Dead Ringers
Dead Ringers start the game off with a two RBI triple from Jake Blum and then its followed by RBI singles from Randy Brymer and Eric Katz to jump out to an early 4-0 lead. Balls Deep grabs two back in the bottom of the 1st with an RBI single from Conner Quinn and RBI double from Will Schulz. Dead Ringers comes out and repeats the same inning, scoring 4 in the second. This time from a two run Home Run from Matt Lewis, solo Home Run from Chris Shaffer, and rbi double from Randy Brymer. Balls Deep matches them, with 4 of their own, from rbi singles from Bob Stanley and Will Schulz and a 2 RBI double from Conner Quinn to keep the score tight at 8-6 after two. Dead Ringers put 6 up in the third with a two rbi double from Justin Longo, rbi single from Chris Shaffer, and two run Home Run from Jose Pittman to pull away. They will add three more in the 4th with an RBI triple from Justin Dinardo, followed by a sac fly from Erix Katz and then a rbi single from Matt Lewis. Balls Deep grab two back with a Tim Gluck rbi triple and then scores on an error. Jake Blum cracks a solo Home Run for Dead Ringers in the 5th to keep the score far apart, and then they finish the game off in the 6th with a three run Home Run from Chris Shaffer and two run Home Run from Larry Delassahoro.

Dead Ringers is away again in this one and get two in the top of the first off, a Jose Pittman sac fly. Scoring is limited in this one and Wildfire get the next run in the third with a Tony Sanchez rbi single. The top of the 4th sees Dead Ringers grab a few, with a sac fly from Justin Dinardo and then RBI doubles from Eric Katz and Jared Saias. Wildfire follows their lead and pick up the scoring in the bottom of the fourth, with a two rbi double from Tom Orlando and two rbi single from Hector Torres to tie this one at 5 after 4. Dead Ringers erupt in the 5th with a Justin Longo sac fly, two run Home Run from Chris Shaffer, rbi double from Jake Blum, and two run Home Run from Randy Brymer to cross 7 in the inning. Wildfire does everything they can to keep up with a big inning of their own, getting RBI singles from Chris Smith, Bruce Davis, Jim Nottingham Jr, Hector Torres and an RBI double from Jim Catanzaro. Dead Ringers keep the pressure on scoring another 4 in the 6th off a Justin Longo rbi double, Chris Shaffer rbi double, and Jake Blum rbi single to extend the lead to 16-11, and then are able to hold Wildfire scoreless. They add another 5 in the top of the 7th with a two rbi single from Justin Longo, rbi double from Chris Shaffer, rbi triple from Jared Saias, and rbi single from Larry Dalessandro to put this one out of reach. Hector Torres gets a rbi double for Wildfire in the bottom of the seventh, but they aren’t able to muster a rally and Dead Ringers goes 2-0 on the day.
