Game 1: Dark Horse vs Pitch Please

Dark Horse had a solid day hitting wise as they were able to put up 19 runs including an 11 run second inning. Leading the way for Dark Horse was Jim Walker going 2 for 3 with a homerun, Paul Ferruzzi 3 for 3 with a homer and a three-run RBI triple, Adam Quaranta 3 for 3 with 2 RBI singles and Mike Suda going 2 for 3 with a pair of RBI singles. Pitch Please had a tough day at the plate as they were only able to plate one run across on an RBI single by Adam Schilling in the first. The game would end after the 5th via run rule, Dark Horse winning big over Pitch Please 19-1.

Game 2: Purple Cobras vs Dark Horse

Dark Horse coming off a big win in Game 1 looked to keep the momentum at the plate going in the 2nd game of their doubleheader. They would plate three runs in the top of the 1st on a couple fielder's choice and an RBI single by Mike Suda. Purple Cobras on the other hand was seeking their first win of the year. Steve Gardner got them on the board in the bottom of the 1st on an RBI single to make the score 3-1 Dark Horse after one. In the top of the 3rd, Dark Horse replicated what they did in the second inning of game one and scored 11 runs to take a big lead over Cobras. Leading the way was Paul Ferruzzi with a two-run homer, Adam Quaranta with a two-run homer and RBI singles by Paul Harding, Jordan Moffett, Alex Tornetta and Jim Walker. Purple Cobras would get four back in the bottom of the 3rd led by a 3-run triple by Cody Runner to cut the deficit to 14-5. Dark Horse kept adding as they scored one run in the 4th and 4 in the 5th on an RBI double by Ferruzzi and an RBI single by Walker. Purple Cobras would add four of their own in the bottom of the 5th, Gardner with another RBI single, but they still trailed big 19-9. Dave Ketterlinus added an insurance run in the top of the 7th on an RBI triple to put the game out of reach as Purple Cobras trailed 20-9 heading into the last of the 7th. Cody Runner had anothe big hit in the bottom of the 7th, an RBI single to score 2 more runs, but it was too little too late as they could not plate anymore runs across. Dark Horse goes 2-0 on the day as they defeat Purple Cobras 20-11.

Game 3: Pitches Be Trippin vs Doc's

Doc's was first up to bat and they got on the scoreboard first after an RBI single by Brett Keszczyk to give them a 1-0 lead. Pitches Be Trippin answered right back with a two-run homer by Brendan McCoy to give them a 2-1 lead. Doc's would retake the lead in the top of the 2nd as they scored four runs with a couple RBI singles by AJ Bagushinski and Clay Snyder.In the bottom of the 3rd, Pitches Be Trippin would score four runs on a three-run homer by Matt Horn and a solo homer by Kris Karaba to go back up 6-4 after the 3rd. In the top of 5th, Doc's put up three runs on RBI singles by Matt Fronheiser and Dylan Brooks to take back the lead again 7-6. The lead would not last long as Pitches Be Trippin answered with a huge 6 run inning in the bottom of the 5th on a lot of singles including RBI singles by Matt and Harry Horn as they now had a 12-7 lead over Docs. They would add two insurance runs in the bottom of the 6th after an RBI single by Dan Kalonsoki and Matt Horn to give them a 14-7 lead with only three outs to go. Doc's would start the top of the 7th strong scoring two runs with an RBI single by Keszczyk, but fell short as the defense of Pitches Be Trippin was able to escape the threat and get third out. Pitches Be Trippin wins a back-and-forth game over Doc's 14-9.

Game 4: One Hit Wonders vs Stiff Sox

Chris Sanchez gave Stiff Sox the early lead after a two-run homer in the top of the 1st. One Hit Wonders answered back with three runs of their own on a Jesse Grasso solo homer and a two-run RBI single by Jack Stepnowski as they led 3-2 after the 1st. Stiff Sox would tie the game at 3-3 in the top of the 2nd on an RBI sac fly. Andy Springer would break the tie in the bottom of the 3rd as he homered for One Hit Wonders to go up 4-3. One Hit Wonders would extend the lead in the bottom of the 4th as they plated three runs by a two-run homer by Jared Owens and an RBI single by Joey Povlosky to extend their lead to 7-3 after the 4th. Riley Denton would homer in the top of the 5th for Stiff Sox to cut their deficit to three runs, but One Hit Wonders kept adding as they scored 5 runs off a two-run RBI triple by Stepnowski and a two-run single by Mike Trivino as they led 12-4 after the 5th. Stiff Sox would not go away as they hit a couple homers by Anthony Crespo and Nick Purshock to keep the game close at 12-7. But just like the previous inning, One Hit Wonders answered again with another five runs in the bottom of the 6th on RBI singles by Grasso, Springer, Stepnowski, Tom O'Neil and Rob Gisondi as they went on to defeat Stiff Sox 17-7.
