Week 4 - 4/25/25

Game 1: Philly Junk vs. Slashers

PJ gets five runs in the top of the first on doubles by Jarrett Kerns, KC Ingram, Rodney Francis, and Tom Rider, and a Brandon Birkhead two run homer. The Slashers answer with three runs in the bottom of the first. KC Ingram blasts a solo homer for PJ in the top of the third. A leadoff triple by Rodney Franics nets PJ a run in the top of the fourth. Singles get the Slashers two runs in the bottom of the fourth. Six runs cross the plate for PJ in the top of the fifth thanks to a three run triple by Brandon Birkhead, and a Vinny C two run homer. PJ adds four runs in the top of the seventh on doubles by KC Ingram, Rodney Francis, and Tom Rider, and a Brandon Birkhead solo homer. Zach Walsh jacks a three run homer for the Slashers in the bottom of the seventh. Philly Junk beats the Slashers, 21-8.

Game 2: Man Bear Pigs vs. Hagan’s Heroes

HH takes the lead in the bottom of the first with four runs thanks to doubles by Chase Luxton and Jay Pane. HH scores seven runs in the bottom of the second thanks to singles, and a three run double by Chase Luxton. HH bats around in the bottom of third to pick up SEVENTEEN runs on singles, doubles by Gary Thompson and Jim Lalley, and Chase Luxton three run homer. MBP gets on the board in the top of the fourth with five runs thanks to a three run homer by Shawn Thornton. Hagan’s Heroes destroys the Man Bear Pigs, 28-5.

Game 3: Unhinged vs. Monsters & Menthols

Unhinged takes the early lead with three runs in the top of the first on singles. MAM bats around in the bottom of the first to score TEN runs on doubles by Zach Lyall, Tess Frelick, and Eric Schade, a Bill Brancato two run triple, and a three run homer by Alex Freeman. MAM puts up six runs in the bottom of the second on singles, and a two run double by Lissa Tercha. Unhinged gets another two runs in the top of the third. MAM adds five runs in the bottom of the fourth on singles, and a triple by Alex Freeman. Monsters & Menthols gets by Unhinged, 22-4.

Game 4: Lady Birds vs. Trash Pandas

LB starts off red hot in the top of the first with TWENTY-ONE runs as Jason McLaughlin smashes three homers with eight RBI. LB adds three runs in the top of the second with a leadoff double by Justin Miller. TP gets on the board in the bottom of the third thanks to an RBI triple by Blake Margot. The Lady Birds obliterate the Trash Pandas, 26-1.
