The defending champs forfeit their first game of the season to Morning Wood.

Dead Ringers VS Dugout Demons

Dead Ringers start this one off with 1 in the first with a Jose Pittman RBI single. Dugout Demons start off with a solo Home Run by CHristain Wagner, RBI singles from Scott Masulis and Nate Gregory, and a three run Home Run from Sam Smith to take an 8-1 lead. Ringers fight back in the second with an rbi single from Dan Fry and a two rbi single from Larry Dalesandro. Dead Ringers grabs two in the bottom of the second with an RBI triple from Nate Gregory and sac fly from Sam Smith. Top of the third sees Ringers grab 4 more with a two rbi double from Dan Fry and a rbi double from Justin Longo and then capped off by a Jose Pittman rbi single. Top 4 sees Ringers tie the lead with a sac fly from Justin Longo, but Ringers grab it right back with 5 in the bottom half. They get an rbi single from John Wagner and a 2 rbi single from Todd Gibson. Pat Maloney caps it off with a 2 rbi double. They grab 4 more in the 5th with a rbi single from Sam Smith and a 3 run Home Run with Todd Gibson. Ringers make a run at it in the 6th, socring 5 off rbi doubles from Justin Longo and Jake Blum and rbi singles from Jose Pittman and Larry Dalesandro, but its not enough and they fall 20-15.

Philly’s Phinest VS Morning Wood

Philly’s Phinest grabs one in the first with a Mike Rocks Jr rbi single, but Morning Wood grabs the lead with with 3 rbi singles from Trevor Harris, Tim Frei, and Bob Stanley, and an RBI double from Conner Quinn. Philly’s Phinest grabs 3 in the second with an rbi single from Mike Rocks Jr, rbi double from Chris Culver, and a sac fly from Harrison Leal to tie the game. Morning Wood grabs the lead right back in the bottom of the second with 4 more, off a Nick Pigott rbi double, Tim Frei 2 rbi single, and Conner Quinn rbi single. Philly’s Phinest cuts into the lead with rbi singles from Jose Pittman and Joe Carpino to cut the lead to 8-6. Morning Wood have a big 4th, scoring 7 off a solo Todd Gibson Home Run, rbi singles from Sebastian Pigott and Nick Pigott, and a three run Home Run from Tim Frei. Philly’s Phinest ties it up with a huge inning, scoring 9 and tying the game up. They get rbi singles from Frankie Kober twice, Joe Carpino, and Chris Rocks, as well as a 3 rbi triple from Jose Pittman. Morning Wood grabs the lead back with 2 in the bottom of the fourth, getting an rbi double from Nick Pigott. Philly’s Phinest grabs 3 to take the lead back though, getting two rbi walks from Chris Culver and Chase Rommel and a run on a fielders choice from Chris Rocks. Morning Wood, down by one in the bottom of the seventh, ties it up on a solo Home Run from Dennis D’Angelo, but cant do any more and this one ends in a tie.

Morning Wood and Philly’s Phinest end in a tie 18-18

Birds of War VS Sprouse Electric

Sprouse jumps out to an early lead, scoring 5 in the first with an rbi triple from Tyler Reeso, rbi single from Damien Scott, rbi single from Kevin Walker, and an rbi triple from Nieko Konji. Birds of War get one from an RBI single from John Laimo in the second. In the third Sprouse grabs more with rbi doubles from Drake Sprouse and Mike Simko and an rbi triple from Kevin Walker. The 4th sees Sprouse add more, getting 3 off a three run Home Run from Jared Katz. Birds of War gets a big inning in the 5th, scoring 6 off rbi singles from Austin Devlin, Jay Callen, Justin Kneebone, Chris Day, and John Laimo. Sprouse doesn’t let them get close though, getting 6 in the bottom half, highlighted by two run Home Run from Bryan King, as week as rbi doubles from Tyler Reese, Damien Scott, and Kevin Walker. Birds of War grabs two in the sixth off a Jay Cowan two run Home Run, but its too little too late, and Sprouse takes this one.
