Game #1 – Knuckleheads vs. GFP

GFP will come out firing in this one as Chase Luxton will knock in two runs on a single right out of the gate. Adam Lightkep then will add two more runs a couple of batters later on his own two run single. Mark Cooper and Phil Lipton round out the inning with a sac fly and RBI single respectively to make this a 6-0 game. Luxton would get back to it in the second knocking in two more runs on a double. Knuckleheads will finally get on the board in the third, with a two run bomb from Jim Bell, deep into the quarry woods. But GFP answer quick, get two more runs of their own on a towering PK bomb to make this a 12-2 game. Knuckleheads don’t offer much more in this one and will fall hard in game 1. GFP wins 16-3.
