Game 1: 4th seed Red Stallion vs 5th seed Muckdogs (National League)
Muckdogs plate 2 in the 1st and 3 in the 2nd. A homer from Jason Fisher in the 3rd leads to 2 runs in the inning for the 'Dogs. They'll score 1 more in the 4th and 1 in the 6th. In the 7th, Ryan Hamilton knocks a 2-run blast over the fence and Muckdogs score 6. On the other side of the page, Red Stallion get a pair of homers in the 1st from Kyle Budynkiewcz and Chris Keeler, and score 5 in the inning. They won't score again until the 4th after Tony Caputo leads off with a triple and scores. 2 more cross the plate in the 5th, and 5 in the 6th. Jack Dombrowski triples and Keeler homers for the 2nd time. They need 2 to tie and 3 to win in the bottom of the 7th but only manage 1 run. MuckDogs win, 15-14.
Game 2: 3rd seed Mayhem vs 5th seed Muckdogs (National League)
Muckdogs get a leadoff triple from Evan Grzymkowski and score 1 in the 1st. A homer from Trent Fisher nets them 2 in the 2nd. 2 more cross the plate in the 3rd, and then they explode for 8 runs in the 6th. Grzymkowski doubles, Ryan Hamilton homers along with Fisher (his 2nd), and Mark Donouski triples. They add an insurance run in the top of the 7th. Mayhem doesn't score until the 4th inning, where they plate 7 Tom Hays doubles and Derek Strowhouer homers Mayhem adds 6 more in the 6th with Steve Sovocol and Josh Sovocol both doubling, and Strowhouer homering again. Needing 1 to tie and 2 to win, Mayhem gets a couple men on in the bottom of the 7th but strands them both. Muckdogs with the upset, 14-13.
Game 3: 3rd seed Gabagools vs 4th seed Cheaters (American League)
Cheaters can't score until the 4th where they plate 5. Matt Koveleski doubles. In the 5th, Jason Exner homers to tack on another run. 3 more cross in the 6th With Exner doubling along with Jake Longmore. 5 more cross in the top of the 7th with Robbie Tomkinson and Brendan Seachrist both homering. For Gabagools, James Muhlburger homers in the 1st and Brian Raymond doubles and they score 3. 4 more cross in the 2nd with Eric Bowden doubling. Gabagools get 1 in the 5th and then bat around in the 6th, scoring 9. Bowden homers, Jon Dobyan doubles, Sean Hagan doubles. Gaabagools win, 19-14.
