Dingers for Dollars

Dingers for Dollars will be a fun contest for all Softball America's HR hitters. It will work like this...
A 4' x 8' banner (pictured below) will be hung in the area just to the left of center field at the Quarry ball field. Enter the contest by remitting $10.00 to Bill Brancato, Curt Hensman, Stephanie Thrasher, or Christine or Nancy Razzi. If 20 league members enter the contest, there will be $200.00 in the Dingers for Dollars pot. Hit the 4' x 8' banner with an over-the-fence home run (see rules and regulations below) and collect all the cash in the HR pot. Once the banner is hit, we start over again. Entrants will be posted in this topic.
Dingers for Dollars will start with the Tuesday Men's league on September 2nd. Register at any time, but don't drag your feet. I'd hate to be you if you don't register when the contest starts and then hit that banner with hundreds up for grabs, all of which would NOT be yours.
Contest Rules and Regulations
The actual banner must be hit, not the frame that holds the banner. The game umpire will make the call as to whether the sign was hit. The umpire’s ruling shall be final. In order to win the cash prize, batters must hit the banner with an over-the-fence home run as a legal roster player in any official Softball America regular season, post season, or tournament game. Hitting the banner while playing as a non-roster sub will not count. Hitting the banner while using an illegal bat will not count.
