Game #1 – Supremes vs. Carroll’s

Supremes come out rolling with a sac fly from Ryan Goodman to give them the early 1-0 lead. Carroll’s will answer in a big way getting nine runs back in the bottom of the inning. Bill Shipe will start the scoring with a solo homer followed by RBI singles from Brian Sauers, Kevin Shinkunas and Steve DiGiovanni. Shipe will go deep again at the end of the inning with a grand slam to make this a 9-1 game. Jess McCorry gets one run back to make it 9-2, but again here comes Carroll’s, this time with two runs. Kelly Gallagher and DiGiovanni had the RBI’s in the inning. Carroll’s bat around in the third with eight more runs and really put this game out of reach. Shinkunas brings in two runs on a single while Shipe and DiGiovanni bring in runs on doubles. Goodman will smash a three-run bomb for Supremes, but it won’t be enough to keep them in this game. Carroll’s win 21-5.

Game #2 – Carroll’s vs. The Runs

Carroll’s get rolling in game two looking to keep the good vibes going from the first game and will get on the board with a John Zeits and Brian Bart RBI double to make it a 2-0 game. Runs will go on top in the bottom of the inning after scoring four runs, three of which come on an Erik Cusano bomb to deep center field. Runs will get four more runs in the second on two more homers, one from Matt Kowleski and one from Cusano, his second of the game. Things would really sizzle for Carroll’s in the third inning as they would bat around twice and score 16 total runs in the inning as they really take a commanding lead. Greg Lesher brings in two runs on two doubles, Shinkunas will bring in a run on a two run double and Bill Shipe had two more hits and three more RBI’s. Runs would show some fight as they try and stay in this game grabbing seven total runs across the fourth and fifth inning. Anthony Izzi knocked in three runs on a double and a fielder's choice. Carroll’s will add some insurance runs late and win this won, completing the sweep of both games tonight. Carroll’s win 24-15.

Game #3 – Quality Landscape vs. The Runs

The Runs will get it started with a sac fly from Anthony Izzi and RBI triple from Erik Cusano. Kyle Exner rounds out the inning with a sac fly to make this a 3-0 game. Neither team will score until the third when Quality will get on the board. Phil McCusker will score two runs on a single and Lauren Fuhrmeister brings in a run on a single. Back comes Runs with three more runs in the bottom of the third. Cusano will bring in another run on a single and Nic Cusano will bring in two runs on a single of his own. Defense would really be put on highlight here as both teams will struggle to score any runs for the rest of the game. Runs can only manage three more runs on a Izzi RBI double and Amy Balash RBI double. Quality wouldn’t be able to manage any more runs and that is the way this game would end. Runs wins 9-3.
