Game 1: Gabagools vs The Clinchers
Gabagools start out hot and score 5 in the 1st. James Muhlberger goes yard and drives in 3, and Sean Hagen doubles and scores on Eric Katz's 2 RBI single. In the 2nd, they send 22 to the plate and score 16 of them. Katz, Brian Harding, Muhlberger all double, with Muhlberger doing it twice in the inning. Jake Steinberg homers twice in the inning and drives in 5. The Clinchers get just 4 hits in 4 tries at the plate, and score just 1 run. Gabagools frighten The Clinchers and win, 21-1.
Game 2: Muckdogs vs Piss Missiles
Piss Missiles put up 5 in the 1st. Matt Bookheimer triples in 3 and Jon Poore doubles. They'll get 4 more in the 2nd, with Jimmy Costar tripling and Austin Grosso doubling. 1 more crosses in the 3rd when Grosso triples. Jon Poore homers in the 3rd to score 2 more. In the 6th, John Erb doubles in 2 and Poore sacrifices another run in. Muckdogs get back-to-back doubles from the 1 and 2 hitters, Evan Grzymkowski and Ryan Catania, and then a 2 run blast from Brandon Birkhead in the 1st, and they score 5 total in the inning. Birky and Trent Fisher go back-to-back with solo shots in the 2nd, and Tony Cabot doubles on the way to 3 more runs in the 2nd. Grzymkowski doubles and scores again in the 3rd. In the 4th, Grzymkowski and Catania go back-to-back again with doubles, and Muckdogs plate 4 more. Will Hamilton doubles and scores in the 5th. Ryan Hamilton and Austin Lynde both double in the 6th, and Will Hamilton doubles again. Trent Fisher triples and Muckdogs score 4 more and take the win, 18-15.
Game 3: Live Wires vs The Cheaters
Live Wires are electric in the 1st when they score 5 with help from a Carson Coates' 3-run blast over the fence. They'll get 2 more in the 2nd with Liam Grob doubling 3 more cross in the 4th, and 5 in the 5th. Coates doubles along with Corey Wambold, and Sean Murphy blasts a lightning bolt over the fence for 3 runs. Cheaters plate 4 in the 1st with Jason Exner driving in 3 on a homerun. Erik Cusano doubles and scores in the 3rd, and they plate 2 more. 5 cross in the 4th with Exner doubling and Rob Tomkinson homering. Cusano doubles again in the 6th and they get 2 more, but it's not enough and Live Wires electrify the night with a 17-13 win.
