Game 1: Monsters & Menthols vs. Philly Junk

MAM picks up three runs in the top of the first with an RBI double by Bill Brancato, and an Alex Freeman RBI triple. Jarrett Kerns blasts a solo homer for PJ in the bottom of the first. MAM adds two runs in the top of the third. Ian Cuozzo and Jarrett Kerns launch back to back homers by PJ in the bottom of the third. MAM plates four runs in the top of the fourth thanks to an Alex Freeman two run double. Jarrett Kerns jacks his third homer of the game for PJ in the bottom of the fifth. Walks and errors lead to four runs for MAM in the top of the sixth. PJ bats around in the bottom of the sixth to get nine runs with singles, a Jarrett Kerns double, and three run homers by Brandon Birkhead and Ian Cuozzo. MAM takes the lead with two runs in the top of the seventh. PJ rallies for two runs in the bottom of the seventh thanks to a KC Ingram and a walkoff single by Bob Louderback. Philly Junk wins the first game with a walkoff hit, 18-17.

Game 2: Philly Junk vs. Monsters & Menthols

A leadoff double by Jarrett Kerns helps get PJ a run in the top of the first. Tom Koelzer smashes a two run homer for MAM in the bottom of the first. Singles lead to three runs for PJ in the top of the second. Alex Freeman blasts a three run homer for MAM in the bottom of the second. A leadoff double by Bill Brancato helps MAM plate two runs in the bottom of the fifth. PJ rallies for seven runs in the top of the seventh on walks and singles. Monsters & Mentos squeaks out the second game, 13-12.

Game 3: Monsters & Menthols vs. Philly Junk

Back to back RBI doubles by Alex Freeman and Tom Koelzer lead to three runs for MAM in the top of the first. PJ answers with six runs in the bottom of the first thanks to doubles by Jarrett Kerns, Brandon Birkhead, and Chelsea Detweiler, and an Amanda Clarke RBI triple. Jarrett Kerns and Brandon Birkhead jack two run homers for PJ in the bottom of the third. MAM adds a run in the top of the third. MAM scores five runs in the top of the fourth on singles, and an RBI double by Cody Runner. Brandon Birkhead jacks another two run homer for PJ in the bottom of the fourth. PJ bats around in the bottom of the fifth to score seven runs on a lot of singles, and a grand slam from Jarrett Kerns. MAM plates five runs in the top of the sixth with a two run triple by Tom Koelzer. Sean Nonemacher blasts a two run homer for MAM in the top of the seventh. Philly Junk wins the third game in a slug fest, 21-17 and the fall chip. Congrats to Philly Junk!
