This year's Tuesday Men's Championship Series features top seed and 2-time 2025 (Spring and Summer) Champion Philly Junk vs the 3rd seed King's Corner.
Game 1: King's Corner get a runner in the 1st but he gets stranded. Mike Casbar triples in the 2nd with 2 outs but he can't score. Two batters reach in the 3rd, one on an error, but neither of them can find home plate. King's Corner goes down in order in the 4th and 5th, and you can see where this game is going. Philly Junk puts up 4 in the 1st with a leadoff dinger from Pat Kelley, a 2-run shot from Tom Koelzer, and a solo shot from Jason Ashworth. Cody Runner doubles as well. In the 2nd, they plate 7. Ashworth homers again and Mike Bitterlich doubles. Ryan Habel doubles in the 3rd and scores on Tom Rider's two out, RBI-single. Philly Junk puts game 1 away with 4 more runs in the 4th. Koezler doubles. Philly Junk wins game 1 easily, 17-0.
Game 2: Philly Junk stays hot and puts up 14 runs in the 1st. Evan Porter, Pat Kelley, and Tom Koezler all homer. Jason Ashworth doubles. In the 2nd, they'll get 2 more runs, and 2 more in the 3rd. Koezler doubles. Pat Kelley homers again in the 4th and 2 more run cross. KC Ingram triples in the 6th and Philly Junk plate 2 more. Kings Corner get on the board for the 1st time in the evening in the 3rd inning with 4 runs. 4 more cross in the 4th. Sean Murphy leads off with a double in the 5th but can't find his way home. 3 more cross in the 6th, but Kings COrner goes down in order in the 7th. Philly Junk wins game 2, the Fall Championship, and a hoodie with the win, 22-11.
