Game #1 – Carroll's vs. Muckdogs
Carroll’s come out rolling with five runs right out of the gate. Bryan Bart will clear the bases with a single, followed by a Bill Shipe RBI double. Alit Theis will also bring in a run on a single as they lead 5-0. Muckdogs respond with three on a Ryan Catania RBI double, two run double from Ryan Hamilton and sac fly from Mark Bernacki to make it a 5-4 game. The next runs we would see is in the fourth when Muckdogs will score two runs and get on top. Jeff Hess brings in two runs on a single. Carroll’s would finally get their bats going again in the fifth when Greg Lesher goes yard for a two run bomb and Brian Sauers brings in two runs on a single. Carroll’s get three more and take a 12-6 lead on RBI singles from Sarah Yoos and Bryan Bart and a sac fly from Lesher. That is the last runs that Carroll’s would score in this game as Muckdogs bring the pressure in the sixth and seventh. Hamilton, Detweiler Hess and Peikin all bring runs in on singles in the sixth, and in the seventh, Ryan Catania would be the hero and walk this one off on an RBI single. Muckdogs win 13-12.

Game #2 – Muckdogs vs. Carroll’s
Muckdogs will keep going in game two, getting three runs right out of the gate. Catania brings in a run on a double, while Hamilton and Cabot bring in runs on singles. Carroll’s respond with five runs in the bottom of the inning on a Lesher two run bomb and Sauers three run bomb, showing the big stick power right away. Muckdogs will grab the lead with five runs in the second and third. Catania provided the big shot with a two run bomb. Both teams grab a couple more runs across the next four innings, but this game would end at 10-10 after seven innings of play. We head to the top of the eighth when Muckdogs explode for 12 runs. Hamilton and Doug Peikin will bring in two runs on doubles, while Evan Grzymkowski and John Mulford bring in RBI’s on doubles. Chelsea Detweiler draws a huge bases loaded walk, while Bill Hamill, Jeff Hess and Brielle Eve all drive in runs in the inning. Carroll’s will be held down and fall in this one 22-10.
