Game 1: Cheaters get a double from Kyle Exner but he gets caught trying to stretch it to a triple in the 1st. Muckdogs start out hot and score 3 in the 1st, with a homer from Brandon Birkhead and doubles from Evan Gryzmkowski and Ryan Catania. Cheaters get on the board in the 2nd with a single run. Muckdogs plate 1 in the bottom with a Mark Danouski signature triple. No one scores in the 3rd, but in the 4th, Cheaters get a 3-run bomb from Rob Tompkinson. Muckdogs answer with 4 runs in the bottom. Ryan Catania triples and Will Hamilton homers. Muckdogs will add 2 more in the bottom of the 5th, with Danouski doubling. Cheaters get 2 in the top of the 6th when Tompkinson smacks his 2nd homer of the game. Muckdogs answer in the bottom of the 6th with 5. Birky leads off with a homer, his 2nd of the game, and Grzymkowski doubles. Needing 9 to send this game to the bottom of the 7th, Cheaters get to work and load the bases with no outs. a string of singles brings in 4, but it's not enough. Muckdogs win game 1, 15-10.

Game 2: Muckdogs go down in order in the 1st and Cheaters pretty much do the same. Birkhead homers in the 2nd and Muckdogs end up scoring 2. Cheaters take the lead in the bottom of the 2nd with a 3 run blast from Bobby Ridenour. Evan Grzymkowski triples and scores on Ryan Catania's sac fly in the 3rd to tie it up. They'll add 2 more in the 4th and 4 in the 5th before Cheaters score again with a Jake Longmore double in the bottom of the 5th. Muckdogs add a single run in the 6th and that's all the scoring they'll need to secure the win. Muckdogs take game 2, 10-4, and the Wednesday Open Hatfield Championship!
