Spring Season / League Preview

League schedules will be posted this weekend.

Monday Coed will kick off the softball year on March 23rd. We will be using 3 fields (Quarry, Hatfield, Stover), however it is unclear when Hatfield will be open for play. At this point, 15 teams will compete in 2 leagues (American and National). There will be slight interleague play. Top teams in each league play for the A title. Lower seeds in each league will play for the B title.

Monday Open wood bat is on one day, off the next. We have 3 teams with a 4th pending. If the 4th team steps up, one of the Monday Coed teams will move to Monday Open and we will run both leagues beginning at some point in the middle of April. All 4 teams make the playoffs with a 3 out of 5 finals. Otherwise, we may move to 16 teams in Monday Coed.

Tuesday Men's will open on March 24th with 7 teams battling in one division. There is room for one more team.

Wednesday Coed opens on March 25th. Twelve teams are slated to compete in 2 leagues (American and National) with interleague play. Top teams in each league play for the A title. Lower seeds in each league will play for the B title.

Thursday Men's will start on March 26th and have a full slate of 14 teams- 5 A Division and 9 B Division. There will not be interleague play.

Friday Coed will open on March 27th. There are 7 confirmed squads with a couple of others interested.

Friday Men's opens on March 27th. 6 teams are set to compete.

Sunday Men's is an enigma. Teams are in. Then they're out. Then back in. Ugh! I wish people would make up their minds. Depending on manager decisions, we may have a 4-team league for Sunday Men's wood bat at Stover. If that doesn't happen we will have a 38 to 40 team, 5 division league metal bat Sunday Men's. The East, West, and South Divisions will open on April 12th (Easter is on the 5th) and Horsham ball field leases don't start until then. The A and B North Divisions will start on March 29th. The A and B North Divisions will remain separate division, however, there will be slight interleague play.

Sunday Coed opens on March 29th at the Quarry and Stover. 15 or 16 or maybe more will compete. C'mon peeps, please make up your mind. Teams will be separated in 2 leagues (American and National) with interleague play. Top teams in each league play for the A title. Lower seeds in each league will play for the B title.
