In the second, Tom Montvydas, Dan Wehlau and Dave Cuninham added innings for Roos. Ryan Garges cut into the lead for Maize with a three run home run. Later in the game, Roos put together another big inning with five more runs. Cunningham started it with a two run single and Steph Farrar smashed a three run blast. Mazie continues to try and stay in the game, but can only manage a couple runs an inning and still find themselves in a hole. Roos pull away late in the one and take this game late in the season. Roos win 17-8.

Dave Cunningham (Roo’s) – 4/5, 5 RBI’s

Game #2 – Blue Dog vs. New Age

Blue Dog gets four runs in the top of the second with RBI singles from Janice Tansits and Paul Hensler as well as a two run single from Bob Kolecki. Dave Gers adds two more runs in the third with a two run bomb into the night. Both teams have really stepped up defensively in this one as runs continue to be hard to come by for both teams. Jason Robinson gets two more runs later really hoping to blow this game open. New Age continues to stuggle later in the game and can’t get enough going to fight back in this one.
