Game 1: Alaskan Bullworms vs. Hagan’s Heroes
AB takes an early lead with two runs in the top of the first. HH ties it up in the bottom of the first with two runs thanks to a double by Chase Luxton, and a Jay Pane triple. AB puts up five runs in the top of the second thanks to singles, and a three run double by Mike Gocht. HH plates four runs in the bottom of the second with a two run double by Keith Keppley. HH picks up four runs in the bottom of the third on singles, and a Bryan Peterman RBI triple. AB adds two runs in the top of the fourth. Keith Keppley smokes an RBI double for HH in the bottom of the fifth. Calvin Starosta blasts a three run homer as seven runs cross the plate for AB in the top of the sixth. HH uses walks and singles in the bottom of the seventh to rally for five runs with Brittany Ullman delivering the game winning hit. Hagan’s Heroes walks it off over the Alaskan Bullworms, 18-17.
Game 2: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Wackers
The Wackers take an early lead in the bottom of the first with five runs thanks to a Chelsea Detweiler RBI triple, and a Bill Brancato solo homer. HH bats around in the top of the second to score six runs on singles, and a Wayne Horger, Jr double. The Wackers pick up five more runs in the bottom of the second on singles, and a Roc Akers RBI double. John Erb jacks a solo homer for the Wackers in the bottom of the fourth. HH picks up two runs in the top of the fifth. The Wackers get another five runs in the bottom of the fifth on singles. The Wackers top Hagan’s Heroes, 17-9.
Game 3: Phanatics vs. Wackers
The Phanatics get a run in the top of the first. The Wackers score seven runs in the bottom of the first with a three run homer by Bill Brancto. The Wackers bat around in the bottom of the second to put up THIRTEEN runs on singles, doubles by Roc Akers and Bill Brancato, a John Erb RBI triple, and a two run homer by Bill Brancato. Jeff Cheng rips an RBI triple for the Phanatics in the top of the third. Back to back doubles by Roc Akers and Bill Brancato allows the Wackers to plate five runs in the bottom of the third. The Wackers make quick work of the Phanatics, 25-2.
Cedar Hill
Game 1: Slap A Pitch vs. Pinball Nerds
PN scores three runs in the bottom of the first on singles, and a double by CJ K. Tyler M smashes a three run homer for PN in the bottom of the second. SAP finally gets on the board in the top of the fifth with a run. PN bats around in the bottom of the third to plate nine runs on singles, a triple by Joe S, and a Tyler M two run homer. Sean F jacks a solo homer for PN in the bottom of the fifth. The Pinball Nerds beat up on Slap A Pitch, 16-1.
Game 2: Mad Batters vs. Pinball Nerds
PN bats around in the bottom of the first to get TEN runs on walks, singles, a Sean F RBI double, and a two run triple by Tyler M. MB gets a run in the top of the second. PN bats around again in the bottom of the second thanks to a CJ K three run homer. Denny smokes a two run triple for MB in the top of the fifth. PN bats around once again in the bottom of the sixth to push four runs across with back to back doubles by CJ K and Joe S. The Pinball Nerds beat up on the Mad Batters, 21-4.
Hatfield
Game 1: JT Bankers vs. Ump Yours
Nic Pataki blasts a three run homer for UY in the bottom of the first. JT gets a run in the top of the second. UY puts up two runs in the bottom of the second. JT puts up three runs in the top of the fourth on singles, and a Tom Kluge RBI double. Singles net JT four runs in the top of the fifth. A leadoff double by Brian Finger helps JT rally for three runs in the top of the seventh. JT Bankers double up on Ump Yours, 12-6.
Game 2: Aces of Bases vs. JT Bankers
JT plates five runs in the bottom of the first on singles, and a two run double by Rich Cordisco. Brian Finger jacks a three run homer for JT as six runs cross the plate in the top of the second. JT bats around in the bottom of the third to plate TWELVE runs on singles, and doubles by Brian Finger, Brad Arcade, and Jason Genva. AOB forgets to bring their bats. JT Bankers shuts out Aces of Bases, 23-0.
Game 3: Dirt Dogs vs. Aces of Bases
DD bats around in the top of the first to get seven runs on singles, and doubles by Tess Frelick and Elijah Robinson. A leadoff triple by Alex Mongan nets AOB a run in the bottom of the first. DD bats around again in the top of the second to score nine runs on walks, singles, and doubles by Nick Pigott, Ryan Bergn, and Rich Volin. Tess Frelick blasts a grand slam for DD in the top of the third. DD bats around once again in the top of the fourth to get seven runs thanks to doubles by Nick Pigott and Ryan Bergn. Natalie J rips a two run triple for AOB in the bottom of the fourth. The Dirt Dogs The Dirt Dogs make quick work of Aces of Bases, 27-4.
Game 4: I’d Hit That vs. Dirt Dogs
DD takes the early lead with three runs in the bottom of the first on a two run triple by Tess Frelick. A triple by Donovan Ramos helps IHT get on the board in the top of the third with a run. DD pushes three runs across in the bottom of the third. IHT adds two runs in the top of the fourth. Singles lead to four runs for IHT in the top of the sixth. DD rallies for two runs in the bottom of the seventh with Erick Myers knocking the game winning hit. The Dirt Dogs walk it off over I’d Hit That, 11-10.
