A Finals

Quarry

Game 1: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Wackers

Gary Thompson blasts a two run homer for HH in the top of the first. Sean Nonemacher jack a leadoff homer for the Wackers in the bottom of the first. A triple by Wayne Horger, Jr nets HH a run in the top of the second. The Wackers bat around in the bottom of the second to score eight runs on walks, singles, and doubles by Sean Nonemacher, Alex Freeman, and Mark Cooper. The Wackers add five runs in the bottom of the third thanks to singles, a two run double by Alex Freeman, and an Eric Schade solo homer. A triple by Gary Thompson helps get HH a run in the top of the fourth. Mark Cooper smashes a two run homer in the bottom of the fifth to end this one early. The Wackers handle the first game in five innings, 21-6.

Game 2: Wackers vs. Hagan’s Heroes

Chase Luxon leads off the bottom of the first with a solo homer for HH. Gary Thompson rips a three run homer for HH in the bottom of the second. The Wackers get on the board in the top of the fourth with two runs thanks to a John Erb RBI double. Chase Luxton and Gary Thompson blast back to back homers for HH in the bottom of the fourth. The Wackers bats around in the top of the fifth to put up seven runs thanks to singles, and doubles by Sean Nonemacer, Roc Akers, and Alex Freeman. Alex Freeman smokes a bases loaded triple for the Wackers in the top of the ninth. Chase Luxton launches his third homer of the game for HH in the bottom of the ninth. The Wackers win game 2 in extra innings, 13-10, and take the A spring title.

B Finals

Hatfield

Game 1: Phanatics vs. Alaskan Bullworms

Ian Cuozzo smokes an RBI double for the Phanatics in the top of the first. AB answers with four runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a three run double by Jake Rodinaro. The Phanatics bat around in the top of the second to get FIFTEEN runs on singles, and doubles by Mike Van Fossen, Jeff Cheng, and Dylan Cardo. AB plate three runs in the bottom of the second. Calvin Starosta smashes a three run homer for AB in the bottom of the fifth. Brad Milnes smokes a two run double for the Phanatics as four runs cross the plate in the top of the third. The Phanatics plate four runs in the top of the sixth. AB rallies for four runs in the bottom of the seventh on singles. The Phanatics win the first game in a slug fest, 26-19.

Game 2: Alaskan Bullworms vs. Phanatics

The Phanatics take the early lead in the bottom of the first thanks to a leadoff double by Corey VanFossen. AB gets on the board with a run in the top of the second. A triple by Gary helps AB plate two runs in the top of the third. Errors and singles lead to four runs for AB in the top of the fifth. The Phanatics get another two runs in the bottom of the fifth with a Brad RBI double. AB picks up four runs in the top of the sixth on singles, and a two run double by Jake. The Phanatics rally for three runs in the bottom of the seventh on a Jeff Cheng two run double, and a solo homer by Scott. The Alaskan Bullworms take the second game, 11-7.

Game 3: Phanatics vs. Alaskan Bullworms

Ian Cuozzo jacks a two run homer for the Phanatics in the top of the first. The Phanatics score six runs in the top of the second thanks to a double by Brad, and a Corey Van Fossen RBI triple. The Phanatics get five runs in the top of the third with an RBI triple by Ian Cuozzo, and a Scott two run homer. Ian Cuozzo smokes an RBI triple for the Phanatics in the top of the fourth. AB can’t muster any offense. The Phanatics win game 3 with a shutout, 15-0, and the B spring title.
