Game 1: Dirt Dogs vs. Pinball Nerds

A leadoff double by Matt Abramson nets DD a run in the top of the first. DD brings in seven runs in the top of the second thanks to a Jamie Gosselin three run homer. Four runs cross the plate for DD in the top of the fourth with a Pierre Garin RBI double, and a Tess Frelick triple. Singles lead to six runs for DD in the top of the fourth. PN can’t get the offense going. The Dirt Dogs shut out the Pinball Nerds, 19-0.

Game 2: Dirt Dogs vs. Slap A Pitch

Nick P, Tess F, and Casey C jack back to back to back homers for DD in the top of the first. Harrison Miller smokes a three run homer for SAP in the bottom of the second. DD scores six runs in the top of the third on singles, and a two run double by Nick P. DD bats around in the top of the fourth to get TEN runs on singles, a two run double by Nick P, and homers by Tess F and Rich V. Singles net SAP two runs in the bottom of the fifth. The Dirt Dogs destroy Slap A Pitch, 24-7.

Game 3: Wackers vs. Slap A Pitch

Four runs come in for the Wackers in the top of the first on a two run double by Carmen Brancato, and a Bill Brancato solo homer. SAP gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the second. The Wackers bat around in the top of the third to pick up eight runs on singles, and doubles by Roc Akers and Carmen Brancato. Singles lead to two runs for SAP in the bottom of the third. The Wackers bat around again in the top of the fourth to add seven runs on singles, and a triple by Mary Kate Smith. The Wackers make quick work of Slap A Pitch, 21-3.

Game 4: Aces of Bases vs. Hagan’s Heroes

HH bats around in the bottom of the first to plate THIRTEEN runs on walks, singles, doubles by Jimmy Craig, Jay Pane, and Wayne Horger, Jr, and a Ron Pulli two run triple. A leadoff double by Tommy B nets AOB a run in the top of the second. Chase Luxton jacks a three run homer for HH in the bottom of the second. AOB puts up four runs in the top of the third with doubles by Sam Petro and Tommy B. HH adds three runs in the bottom of the third. Singles lead to four runs for HH in the bottom of the fourth. Hagan’s Heroes beats up on Aces of Bases, 25-5.

Game 1: No Shows vs. I’d Hit That

Chip Taylor blasts a two run homer for IHT in the bottom of the first. NS gets on the board with a run in the top of the fourth. IHT bats around in the bottom of the fourth to plate TWELVE runs on walks, singles, a double by Anthony R, and a John Crichton three run homer. Anthony R jacks a solo homer for IHT in the bottom of the fourth. I’d Hit That beats up on No Shows, 16-1.

Game 2: I’d Hit That vs. Ump Yours

UY uses singles to score four runs in the bottom of the first. Three runs cross the plate for IHT in the top of the second. Christian Butrica rips a two run double for UY in the bottom of the second. Kevin Goyette smokes an RBI double for UY in the bottom of the third. Chip Taylor blasts a three run homer for IHT in the top of the fifth. Nic Pataki blasts a solo homer for UY in the bottom of the fifth. Ump Yours beats I’d Hit That, 12-7.

Game 3: Hit & Run vs. Mad Batters

Matt Korn jacks a three run homer for HAR in the top of the first. MB answers with a run in the bottom of the first. MB gets seven more runs in the bottom of the second with a bases loaded triple by Danny Torres. Adam Hebert smashes a solo homer for HAR in the top of the third. MB pushes five runs across in the bottom of the fourth thanks to a Carmelo Aponte two run triple. HAR bats around in the top of the fifth to score four runs on singles. HAR bats around again in the top of the sixth to put up five runs on singles, and a two run homer by Brian Randazzo. Hit & Run out slugs the Mad Batters, 19-15.

Game 4: Mad Batters vs. Phanatics

MB gets a run in the top of the first. The Phanatics answer with four runs in the bottom of the first on singles, and an RBI double by Ian Cuozzo. MB adds a run in the top of the second. The Phanatics score seven runs in the bottom of the third on double by Julie Cherubini and Zach Harding, a Sean O’Connor RBI triple, and a two run homer by Rich Zupkusky. Singles net MB two runs in the top of the fifth.The Phanatics add on four runs in the bottom of the fifth with doubles by Scott Gerhart and Zach Harding, and a Sean O’Connor RBI triple. The Phanatics take down the Mad Batters, 15-4.
