Game #1 – Wehrung’s vs. The Sillies
Wehrung’s will kick off this game off with a run on a Sammy R triple and then error. Sillies respond with one more run in the bottom of the inning with an RBI single from Kris Karaba. Both teams will lock it down defensively and not give up any runs. Lowell Snyder will get an RBI single to give Wehrung’s the lead, but Sillies quickly fight back with four runs in the bottom of the inning. Sillies get RBI singles from George Slawter, JEss McCorky and Bill Hamlet. Wehrung’s get four runs back in the next inning, three of which come from a homer off the bat of Luke Hendricks. Bobby Snyder will also add an RBI single on a single. Sillies will take the lead again in the bottom of the inning with back to back RBI singles from Kevin Johnson and Slawter. Wehrung’s will get clutch hitting again, getting a two run bomb from Luke Hendricks as they will hold in the seventh and win. Wehrung’s win 8-7.

Game #2 – The Runs vs. The Maize
Runs will get rolling with three runs in the first on an RBI double from Matt Kovaleski and two run bomb from Erik Cusano. Maize will respond back in the bottom of the second, getting RBI singles from Will Das and Keith Bellinger as well as a hit from Miranda Vogt. Runs look to open a big lead with a four run inning in the third. Kovaleski grabs two runs on a triple, while Kyle Exner adds another on a double. Maize didn’t like that and fight back with runs of their own, seven in total. Tom Egitto got it rolling with an RBI triple, followed by an RBI single from Austin Grasso. Aaron Worthington then nets two runs on a double as well as an RBI double from Gary Kleinschmidt. They will keep it rolling in the fourth grabbing two more runs on back to back RBI singles from Grasso and Matt Bagenhagen. Runs get another big inning in the fifth, getting two separate two run bombs from Kovaleski and Cusano. We stand at 12-12 after six innings of play, making it sudden death at this point. Maize will hold Runs to nothing in the top of the inning and then get a walk off Bagenhagen RBI single to win this one. Maize wins 13-12.

Game #3 – The Runs vs. Carrolls Jewelers
We get rolling with Carroll’s coming out red hot scoring 12 runs in total. Bryan Bart nets three runs on a homer followed by RBI doubles from Steve DiGiovanni and Lauren Klepchick. Sarah Yoos then steps up with a three run bomb as they roll in the first. A Mike Stacey RBI double and Kelly Gallagher RBI single give them three more runs as they lead 15-0 after two innings. Mean Machine continue to struggle as they can’t push across any runs. Carroll’s will get eight more runs in the third as they will end this one early. Kyle Gallagher continues to pace the homers parade with a three run shot while Bill Shipe adds two runs on a double.
