Game #1 – Quality Landscaping vs. Dominicks Pizza
Quality gets rolling with a run on a fielder’s choice from Peyton Baldwin. Dominick’s will get two runs back on a Ray Barry two run double, followed by a sac fly from Chris Lalicata. Eric Rosenblum will also add an RBI single in the inning. Quality come back in the bottom of the inning with four runs of their own. Terry Ebersole started with an RBI single followed by a Mark Kannergiesar three run bomb. Dominick’s will tie the game up on an RBI single from Emily Kline as we stand at 5-5 after 2 innings. Dominicks will strike next with two runs in the third on back to back RBI doubles from Rosenblum and Dan Maldoon. Quality will get those runs back on a sac fly from Alex Hoxsey and fielder’s choice to tie this game up again. Quality will then take the lead in the fifth, but Domnick’s answer quickly with four runs in the bottom of the inning. Rosenblum continued to stay hot with a two run double. This game would be decided in the seventh. Peyton Baldwin brings Quality within one with an RBI single and Phil McCusker smashes a two run bomb to take the lead. Quality then shuts it down in the bottom of the inning as they will win this one late. Quality wins 12-11.

Game #2 – Wackers vs. Poco’s
We get rolling in game two with a triple out of the gate from Doubles Nonenemeacher. He scores on an Alex Freeman sac fly. Poco’s take the lead in the bottom of the inning on three straight RBI singles from Eric Schade, Ryan Hamilton and Jeff Hess. Kris Eve will score one more run on a sac fly to give them the 4-1 lead. Wackers grab one more run in the second on a Bill Shallcross RBI single as they cut the league to two. Steph Newberg will get that run right back in the second for Poco’s as they get their three run lead back. Both teams will score three in the third. Alex Freeman smashes a three run homer for Wackers while Poco’s get runs on RBI singles from Hess, Lauren Degrushe and Tyler Stone. Wackers will tie this game up in the fifth with a two run double from Jenn Seviski. Yet again, Poco’s take the lead on a Ryan Hamilton solo bomb. Poco’s will hold that lead until the seventh, when Tess Frelick knocks in a run to tie this game up. That is where we would stand as seven innings can’t break the tie. Wackers and Poco’s tie 8-8.

Game #3 – Wackers vs. Mott-Ley Crew
Wackers get rolling in their second game of the night with six runs in the first inning. Jay Pane nets two runs on a single, followed by a Bill Brancato RBI double. Tess Frelick will add a run on a sac fly followed by an RBI single from Mark Cooper. Crew would come out hot as well getting four runs back in the bottom of the inning. Anthony Rapposelli had a two run single, followed by RBI singles from Ian Kacergis and Jonathan Duchette. Wackers would really take control of this game in the second inning scoring an insane 15 runs. Freeman and Brancato both nets two runs on doubles, Shallcross pushes two across on as well as Doubles nOnemacheria who stays hot with his singles, while nursing 17 injuries. Jon Motts will briefly put up a highlight for Crew with a two run bomb deep into the quarry trees. Wackers would get right back to it with seven more runs in the third as they will dominate this game. Brancato and Cooper both show off their muscles with homers. Wackers win 28-6.

Game #4 – Knuckleheads vs. Altek
Knuckleheads come out with a lead off bomb off the bat of Rich Zuplusky followed up by a Jon Poore RBI triple and John Kiefer RBI single to take a 3-0 lead. Altek will respond back in the bottom of the inning with two runs on a Ryan Kerns RBI double and Scott Flaherty sac fly. Neither team can muster a run in the second inning as we go to the third. Knuckleheads get back to business in the third, with another homer from Zuplusky. Jose Rodriguez and Pierre Girin grab RBI singles as they hold a 9-2 lead. Altek will keep at pace grabbing four runs across the third and fourth inning. Brandon Smith delivers a big shot with a solo bomb, while Steph Thrasher adds a run on a double. Both teams have big fifth innings. Zuplusky provides most of the offense again, with a three run bomb, but Brittany also adds two runs on a double. Altek will get four runs on a Scott Flaherty bases clearing double and Chris Lento fielder’s choice. Altek will get five more in the sixth, thanks to a big three run bomb from Kerns. We head to the seventh with the game tied at 15. Both teams have a chance to win it in the seventh, but both won’t be able to push any across as we end in a tie.
