Wildfire VS Dead Ringers
Wildfire starts off with a sac fly from Rob Philippi and a second run on a Bruce Davis Fielder’s Choice to jump out to an early lead. Dead Ringers jump out early with a 2 RBI single from Randy Bryner and another run on a Fielder’s Choice from Justin Longo to take the lead. Wildfire is scoreless in the second and Dead Ringers take advantage. They get a solo Home Run from Larry Delesandro and then a 2 run Home Run from Matt Lewis, with Jared Saias following it up with a solo Home Run of his own. Jose Pittman adds to the fun with a solo shot of his own and Dead Ringers jump out to an 8-2 lead. Wildfire play catchup in the third and get two runs on a hard-hit Phil Purchase ball that Dead Ringers boot, then Mark Maria adds a rbi double and Rob Philippi follow it with an RBI single to close the lead to 8-6. Dead Ringers only add one in the bottom of the third with a rbi single from Don Fry and then Wildfire takes the lead back in the top of the 4th. They get a two RBI single from Bill Aichroth, an RBI single from Tom Orlando, and then Phil Purchase caps off the inning with an RBI single from Phil Purchase. Dead Ringers don’t let Wildfire keep the lead for long though, with an RBI single from Justin Dinardo and then a monster 3 Run Home Run from Harrison Leal. They grab one more off a Larry Delesandro sac fly and we go into the fifth with Dead Ringers winning 14-11. Wildfire gets one in the 5th with a rbi single from Josh Torres but the offense for both teams sputters in the 5th otherwise. The sixth sees Dead Ringers play great defense and then jump out to a larger lead, with an RBI double from Justin Longo and 2 RBI single from Eric Katz to extend the lead to 17-12. Wildfire comes out in the top of the seventh down 5 and start it off with a Mark Maria single, Rob Philippi walk and Eric Simonait fielder’s choice to put two on with one out. Bruce Davis knocks one in on a single and then Chris Smith hits a hard ball that Dead Ringers can’t handle to bring in another. Josh Torres walks to load the bases for Tony Sanchez, who delivers a bases clearing 3 RBI double and then Bill Aichroth replaces him with an RBI double of his own to take the lead. Dead Ringers come up in the bottom of the seventh down one and looking to walk it off. Matt Lewis starts it off with a double and Jared Saias just misses a walkoff and flies out. Randy Bryner scores Matt Lewis on an RBI Double and then Jose Pittman hits a hard ball that Wildfire can’t handle and Randy Bryner scores on the error to walk the game off.
Dead Ringers win 19-18.

Wildfire VS Balls Deep
We have a very boring first 2 ½ innings of scoreless softball, with only 4 hits total between both teams. Balls Deep finally wakes up in the 3rd inning, with Tim Frei, Tim Gluck, and Bob Stanley each getting a rbi single and then Will Schulz gets an RBI double, and Conner Quinn knocks one in with a sac fly. Wildfire come alive in the fourth finally, with an RBI single from Mark Maria, a Grand Slam from Eric Simonait, a 3 Run Home Run from Tony Sanchez, and a solo Home Run from Jim Nottingham to jump out to a 9-5 lead. Balls Deep grabs two off a Jared Taylor 2 run Home Run in the bottom of the 4th and then jump out to a lead in the fifth after a scoreless Wildfire half inning. Will Schulz gets another rbi double and then Conner Quinn follows it with a two rbi double of his own, which is followed by Steve Taylor’s rbi double. Josh Carl gets a rbi on a Fielder’s Choice to cap the inning off and take a 12-9 lead. Wildfire grabs one in the sixth with a rbi single from Chris Smith, but Balls Deep can’t add to the lead. The seventh sees Wildfire put pressure on Balls Deep with a three-run home run from Mark Maria and a Two Run Home Run from Bill Aichroth to add 5 and take a 15-12 lead. Balls Deep comes up in the bottom of the seventh and get an RBI double from Steve Taylor followed by a Ken Huber rbi single. They get a game tying rbi single from Tim Frei, but they fall short and can’t get the winning run across and this one ends in an anticlimax.

Birds of War VS Balls Deep
Birds of War gets off to a hot start with a Jay Cowan sac fly, Tom Bush rbi single, Ryan Thompson RBI single, Sonny Ray rbi double, and a Chris Day rbi sac fly to jump out to a 5-0 lead. They add 5 more in the third with an RBI double from Tom Bush, RBI single from Justin Kneebone, and 3 RBI double from John Laino. Balls Deep finally get across the plate with a 2 run Home Run from Josh Carl in the 5th and then add 3 more in the 6th with an RBI single from Steve Taylor and sac fly from Josh Carl. Birds of War extend the lead in the 7th with a solo Home Run from Matt Jacobson, rbi single from Ryan Thompson, and three rbi double from Chris Day to extend to 15-5. Balls Deep get a couple back with an RBI double from Jared Taylor and score two on two back-to-back Fielder’s Choice from Bob Stanley and Will Schulz, but they can’t mount the comeback and fall short.
Birds of War win 15-8.

Birds of War VS The Ones
Birds of War start off their second game wasting no e time with an Austin Devlin solo Home Run. Tom Bush adds a second with an RBI single and take a 2-0 lead. The Ones start off and wipe the lead away right away, with a 2-rbi sac fly from Scott Flaherty and then a CJ Stiener sac fly to take the lead. The second sees Mike Oakes hit a monster Home Run for The Ones to extend to 4-2, but Birds of War takes back the lead in the third. Jay Cowan knocks one in with an RBI double and then Matt Jacobson knocks 2 in with an RBI single. Bottom of the Third sees the ones jump back in front off a 3 Run Home Run from Zach Lentchner to grab a 7-5 lead. Birds of War come right back and take the lead again in the top of the 4th with a 2 rbi single from Ryan McAvey, rbi single from Austin Devlin, sac fly from Jay Cowan, 2 RBI double from Tom Bush, and an rbi single from Justin Kneebone to bring in 7 and take a 12-7 lead. Ryan Kerns knocks in Jarrett Kerns for one run for The Ones. Birds of War add two in the fifth with rbi singles from Austin Devlin and Jay Cowan, but The Ones finally break open. Mike Hensman takes a huge rbi walk and then Curt Hensman sings “Put me in Coach” off key to himself and gets a big rbi single to flip the lineup over. Kevin Raymond gets a rbi single and then Scott Flaherty follows it with a two rbi double. Jarrett Kerns follows it to clear the bases with a two rbi single and The Ones storm back to take a 16-14 lead. Birds of War come up in the seventh and get a Ryan McAvey rbi single but fall just short.
The Ones wins 16-15.
