Dead Ringers VS Morning Wood
Dead Ringers start Sunday morning off in fashion with a 2 run Home Run from Jake Blum in the second batter of the day. They would get another Home Run from Larry Delassandro, this time a 3 run Home Run, to jump out to a 5-0 lead after the first half of the inning. Morning Wood would answer strong through, as they get a two rbi single from Tim Gluck, followed by a Nick Carl 2-run Home Run and then rbi singles from Kevin Carrier and Trevor Harris along with a sac fly from Tom Galo to grab the lead 7-5. Ringers go down in order in the second and Morning Wood takes advantage, with a 2 run Home Run from Nick Carl and an rbi single from Tom Galo. Dead Ringers add two in the third, with a two rbi single from Jimmy Kennard to bring it within 3, and then retake the lead in the 4th with a Grand Slam from Randy Bryne after an rbi walk from Jake Blum. Morning Wood is able to tie It back up with RBI singles from Tom Galo and Josh Carl, but Dead Ringers takes the lead right back with a two rbi single from Harrison Leal. Morning Wood gets a 2 run Home Run from Tim Gluck, and we are tied again going into the sixth, but we see 7 batters total in the inning and we go to the seventh all tied. Dead Ringers get a big Home Run from Larry Delassandro to grab two and take a 16-14 lead into the bottom of the seventh. With two on and two outs, Nick Carl sends one over the fence to end the game, but Morning Wood is out of Home Runs and this one counts as the third out of the game and Dead Ringers wins thanks to the Home Run rule at Stover.

Dead Ringers win 16-14.

Player of the Game: Larry Delassandro, 4-4. Two singles, two Home Runs, 5 RBIs, 2 runs.

Wildfire VS Dugout Demons


Wildfire has a good first inning, grabbing 3 from an RBI double from Dave Archer and rbi singles from Mark Maria and Steve Reyes. The lead doesn’t last long though, as Dugout Demons come out aggressive and get 5 runs, with a TJ Pergine sac fly, RBI single from AJ Dejewski, and 2 rbi triple from Pat Maloney. Wildfire wont score again until the 5th, but Demons adds one in the second from another TJ Pergine sac fly, one in the third from a Patrick O Brien sac fly, and then 3 in the 4th from a TJ Pergine solo Home Run and Pat Maloney 2 run Home Run. Wildfire gets 3 in the 5th with a 2 rbi double from Hector Torres and an Eric Simonait rbi single. We have no scoring again until the seventh, when Wildfire makes a run at it with an RBI single from Dave Archer and an Eric Simonait sac fly, but they fall short in a defensive game.

Dugout Demons wins 10-8.

Player of the Game: Pat Maloney – HITS FOR THE CYCLE, single, double, triple, home run. 4 RBIs, 3 runs.

Morning Wood VS Philly’s Phinest


Morning Wood grabs two in the first with an RBI double from Trevor Rice and rbi single from Tim Gluck. Philly’s Phinest ties it up with an RBI triple from Mike Rocks Jr and RBI single from Ray Rocks. A scoreless second brings us to the third, where Nick Carl brings two in on an rbi double. Philly’s Phinest grabs the lead in the bottom of the third, with an rbi single from Ray Rocks and Chris Culver and an rbi double from Steve Johnson. Philly’s Phinest adds more in the 4th with a Mike Rocks Jr two rbi double and a Steve Johnson rbi single to take a 9-4 lead going into the 5th. A scoreless fifth brings Morning Wood up in the top of the sixth and they grab two, with a Bob Stanely sac fly and a Kevin Carver rbi single. Philly’s Phinest puts it out of reach though with 4 in the bottom of the sixth, grabbing one from Mike Rocks Jr rbi single, Ray Rocks two rbi triple, and a Steve Johnson rbi single. Morning Woods gets one in the top of the seventh from a Tim Gluck rbi but fall short on this one.

Hitmen VS Sprouse Electric


Hitmen grabs one in the first off a Chris Cruz rbi double and Sprouse Electric answers back with three of their own off a Damien Scott two rbi triple and a Nieko Conti sac fly. Sprouse Electric adds to the lead with an RBI single from Bryan King in the second. Hitmen explodes for 11 in the third, rattling off 8 singles in a row, 12 hits total, and rbis from 8 of their 9 players! Sprouse Electric doesn’t quit, and grab two back from a Damien Scott rbi double and Nieko Conti rbi triple. Hitmen decide to try a different approach in the 4th and get a three run Home Run from Mark Kannengeiszer and then get a two run Home Run from Dennis D’Angelo the next inning to extend the lead. They’ll add a few more, but cruise to a victory in this one.

Hitmen win 19-7.

Birds of War VS Sprouse Electric


We have a slow start and a scoreless first before Sprouse Electric grabs one in the second off a Drake Sprouse rbi triple. Birds of War pummels them for 5 in the bottom, with RBI s from Alex Olmeda and Ryan McAvey and a couple runs off an error. Birds of War add 4 in the third with an RBI triple from Scott Chmura, a sac fly from Chris Day, and RBI single from Zach Schrum. They’ll pile more on in the 4th, with an RBI single from Jay Cowan, and a bases loaded 3 RBI double from Scott Chmura. Sprouse has a rough day at the plate, and Birds of War ends this one early with a two run Home Run in the sixth to cap off the day.

Birds of War wins 16-1.
