A Playoffs

Game 1: Dirt Dogs vs. Hagan’s Heroes

DD takes the lead with a run in the top of the first. HH answers with five runs in the bottom of the first thanks to singles, and an RBI double by John Erb. DD scores four runs in the top of the third thanks to singles, and a Derek Strohwouer RBI double. DD adds three runs in the top of the fourth on walks and singles. Gary Thompson rips a three run double for HH in the bottom of the fourth. A leadoff triple by Keith Keppley helps HH put up three runs in the bottom of the sixth. Hagan’s Heroes tops the Dirt Dogs, 13-9.

Game 2: I’d Hit That vs. GFP

IHT takes the lead with a run in the top of the second. A double by Brian Dart helps GFP put up two runs in the bottom of the first. GFP scores four runs in the bottom of the second with a two run double by Kyle Rizzi. Bill Hare smokes a two run double for IHT in the top of the fifth. GFP plates three runs in the bottom of the fifth thanks to an Eric Schade RBI double. Back to back doubles by Sean Nonemacher and Brian Dart net GFP two runs in the bottom of the sixth. IHT rallies for three runs in the top of the seventh on doubles by Anthony R and Aiden R, and a Bill Hare RBI triple. GFP gets by I’d Hit That, 12-8

B Playoffs

Hatfield

Game 1: Alaskan Bullworms vs. Mad Batters

Calvin Starosta smokes an RBI triple for AB in the top of the first. A triple by Anibal Negron helps MB score three runs in the bottom of the first. MB bats around in the bottom of the second to plate five runs on singles. A leadoff double by Calvin Sarosta nets AB a run in the top of the fourth. Five runs come in for AB in the top of the fifth with a two run double by Calvin Starosta. AB adds a run in the top of the sixth. MB puts up two runs in the bottom of the sixth thanks to doubles by William Rowand and Carmelo Aponte. We head to the top of the eighth where AB score three runs thanks to a Wayne Beal RBI double. MB rallies for four runs in the bottom of the eighth with Carmelo Aponte getting the game winning hit. The Mad Batters walk it off over the Alaskan Bullworms, 13-12.

Game 2: JT Bankers vs. Aces of Bases

JT takes the lead in the top of the first with a run. JT adds another run in the top of the second. A leadoff double by Sam Petro nets AOB a run in the bottom of the second. Jarrett Kerns jacks a three run homer for AOB in the bottom of the third. Ryan Hensman smashes a three run homer for AOB in the bottom of the fifth. JT rallies for two runs in the top of the seventh. Aces of Bases takes down JT Bankers, 8-5.

Game 3: Mad Batters vs. Ump Yours

MB gets a run in the top of the first. Nic Pataki jacks a three run homer for UY in the bottom of the second. Walks give MB two runs in the top of the third. Anthony Rubes launches a three run homer for UY in the bottom of the third. William Rowand blasts a solo homer for MB in the top of the fifth. A leadoff double by Mike Giantamaso helps UY plate two runs in the bottom of the sixth. Ump Yours tops the Mad Batters, 11-5.

Game 4: Aces of Bases vs. Pinball Nerds

AOB gets a run in the top of the first. Joe Fresalone blasts a solo homer for PN in the bottom of the first. PN plates six runs in the bottom of the second on singles, and a three run homer by Warren Merchase. Alyssa Martin rips an RBI double for AOB in the top of the third. CJ Koysani smashes a leadoff homer as four runs cross the plate for PN in the bottom of the third. Joe Sulpizio and Tyler Jackson both blast homers for PN in the bottom of the fifth. The Pinball Nerds beat up Aces of Bases, 21-3.
