As I'm sure you've noticed, the Quarry backstop netting is in pretty bad shape. This was a custom-made netting I put together back in 2007. I actually had to build a mock backstop to get all the required measurements. This time I needed the help of Curtis and Billy to get those measurements. It took some time. The custom netting was ordered and recently shipped from Tampa, Florida. Curt has it in his possession and as soon as I can get a lift and lift operator to the field, it will be installed. At the same time, we will fix the 2 ball field lamps that are not working.
I am also ordering a special rototiller that has the ability to cut into and repair any and all infield ruts. We have water in the tank. We have infield mix at the field. As soon as we can put it all together, we will be out there taking care of business. Hang tight. We'll get it done.
