Game #1 – Dominick’s Pizza vs. Carroll’s Jewelers

Dominick’s get this beautiful Monday started after weeks of rain with a two-run single off the bat of Cody Miller. Eric Rosenblum then brings in a run on an RBI double to lead 3-0. Carroll’s get five runs back in the bottom of the inning, thanks to a Bryan Bart two run double, Mike Stacey RBI single and Steve DiGiovanni RBI single. Carroll’s will have another big inning in the second, this time scoring six runs. Greg Lesher and Bart had back-to-back RBI singles, while DiGiovanni knocks in two more runs with another single. Dom’s look to try and chip away, but runs are hard for them in this one. Kevin Udris and Cody Miller go back-to-back with RBI singles to help keep them in this game, but it's not enough. Carroll’s continue to keep the pressure on in the middle innings. Lesher will add three more RBI’s on two doubles, while Bart adds two on a double. Sarah Yoos will drive in three runs on two singles and a sac fly and Steve DiGiovanni will round out his big game with a triple. Carroll’s win 22-7.
