Philly’s Phinest VS Dugout Demons
Philly’s Phinest starts this one off with a 5 run first, scoring 2 on a Tony Summers double and one on a John Quartello rbi single and then two on errors and fielder’s choices. Demons grab 1 in the bottom of the second off a sac fly from Gary Nuttinger. Philly’s Phinest get one 1 in the 3rd off a John Quartello rbi single. Christian W gets it right back for Dugout Demons though with a John W rbi single. The sixth sees more action, with Philly’s Phinest grabbing 2 from a 2 rbi single from Chris Rocks. Dugout Demons gets 2 back with a 2 run Pat M Home Run to bring it to 9-5. Phillys Phinest adds 1 in the 7th when Frankie Kober scores on a fielder’s choice. Dugout Demons, down 10-5, is able to get two rbi singles from Gary and Christian W, but fall short in the comeback.

Sprouse Electric VS Dugout Demons

Dugout Demons jumps out to a lead, scoring 1 in the first from a Pat Maloney sac fly and 2 in the second with a Pat rbi single and Christian W rbi walk. Sprouse jumps ahead, scoring 6 in the 3rd with a 2 rbi double from Damian S, sac fly from Nieko Conti, rbi double from Drake S, and an rbi single from Tommy Donnely. They add one more in the 4th with a sac fly from Jared K, but go into the 7th with a 7-3 lead. With Dugout Demons only playing with 8, they get an rbi double from Dave W, rbi single from Gary Nuttinger, and an rbi double from Christian W to tie the game. We go into extras because we have time, but both teams are unable to cross the plate.

Dead Ringers vs Birds of War

We have a slow start to this game, not seeing any runs in the first. Deadringers get 2 in the second with a sac fly from Bruce Froshoun and 2 rbi single from Jayson Depew. They add 1 in the fourth with an rbi double from Jayson Depew and then have a big 4th, scoring 8 from rbi singles from Larry D and Eric K, rbi double from Harrison Leal, and rbi triple from Justin L. Birds of War finally get on the scoreboard with a 2 run Home Run from Jay Cowan. Dead Ringers bounce right back in the 5th and add another 8, with an rbi single from Randy Brymer and RBI doubles from Justin L, Harrison Leal, Bruce Froshour and Joe Brocopio. Birds of War score 5 in the 7th, but this one ends early.

Morning Wood VS Birds of War

Birds of War score 1 in the second with an RBI single from Sonny Rey. Morning Wood ties it up in the 4th with a Nick Piggot sac fly, but Birds of War score the third run of the game with an rbi single from Jay Cowan to take a 2-1 lead. In the 5th Bob hits a sac fly, Trevor Rice gets an RBI single, and Kevin gets a sac fly and then Morning Wood scores 3 more on errors. Birds of War score 1 more on a Matt J single, but this defensive game ends in a low scoring game.
