Game 1: Dark Horse vs One Hit Wonders
One Hit Wonders came out swinging and put up 5 runs in the top of the 1st on an RBI single by Andy Springer, RBI doubles by Andrew Bougher and Rob Gisondi and an RBI fielder's choice. Dark Horse put up 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st on an RBI double by Paul Ferruzzi, RBI triple by Nick Mariana and a sac fly as One Hit Wonders led 5-4 over Dark Horse after the first. One Hit Wonders would add one run in the top of the 2nd on an RBI single by Jesse Grasso. Dark Horse would add three runs in the bottom of the 2nd on an RBI double by Ferruzzi, a sac fly and a fielder's choice to take a 7-6 lead after the second. One Hit Wonders would retake the lead in the top of the 3rd on an RBI single by Dave Carson and an error to score two runs and take an 8-7 lead over Dark Horse after the third. Dark Horse would score three runs in the bottom of the 4th on an RBI single by Jim Walker, RBI double by Ferruzzi and a sac fly to retake the lead 10-8 after the fourth. Jimmy Cooker would deliver an RBI single for One Hit Wonders in the top of the 5th to score one run and make it 10-9 Dark Horse. Dark Horse would score four runs in the bottom of the 5th to give themselves a little more of a lead on an RBI double by Ryan Schock and an RBI sac fly to go up 14-9 after the fifth. After One Hit Wonders did not score in the top of the 6th, Dark Horse added two more insurance runs in the bottom of the 6th on an RBI single by Pete Burns and a fielder's choice to go up 16-9 over One Hit Wonders heading into the 7th. One Hit Wonders got a couple on with one out in the 7th, but a pair of fielder's choices ended the threat and the game. Dark Horse defeats One Hit Wonders 16-9.
Game 2: Stiff Sox vs Purple Cobras
Purple Cobras got first swings and put up two runs on an RBI fielder's choice. Jose Sanchez got one run back for Stiff Sox on his RBI single in the bottom of the 1st as Purple Cobras led 2-1 after the first. Stiff Sox would tie the game at 2 a piece in the bottom of the 2nd after an RBI single by Dan Stahl. Purple Cobras would get the offense going again in the top of the 3rd as they scored four runs on RBI singles by Dan and Brandon Roman, Steve Gardner and a fielder's choice. Stiff Sox got one run back in the bottom of the 3rd on an RBI single by Anthony Crespo as Purple Cobras held a 6-3 lead after the third. Purple Cobras would add on six more runs in the top of the 4th on RBI singles by Matt Meindl, Dan Roman and Mike Corrigan to extend their lead to 12-3 after the 4th. They would add eight more runs in the top of the 5th on RBI singles by Manny Rodriguez, Brandon and Jordan Roman, RBI doubles by Dan Roman and Mike Corrigan and a sac fly. Nick Purshock would hit a three-run homer for Stiff Sox in the bottom of the 5th as Purple Cobras held a commanding 20-6 lead after the fifth. After shutting out Purple Cobras in the top of the 6th, Stiff Sox added three more runs on an RBI double by JP Nolan and a fielder's choice as they now trailed 20-9 over Purple Cobras heading into the 7th. Purple Cobras would put the game away in the top of the 7th as they scored three more runs on an RBI double by Corrigan, a homer by Dan Roman and a sac fly as they went on to defeat Stiff Sox 23-9.
Game 3: Pitches Be Trippin vs Doc's Irish Pub
Doc's Irish Pub scored three runs in the top of the 1st on an RBI single by Sam Matos and a bases loaded walk. Pitches Be Trippin would score one run on an RBI single by Kris Karaba in the bottom of the 1st as Doc's had an early lead 3-1 after the first. Doc's would score two runs in the top of the 3rd on RBI singles by Denny Lord and Chip Margiotta to extend their lead to 5-1 after the third. Pitches Be Trippin's offense would come alive in the bottom of the 4th as they scored ten runs on RBI singles by Kevin Levonian, Dan Kalonoski, Matt Horn, Anthony Perretti, Karaba and CJ McCafferty and an RBI triple by Brendan McCoy as they took an 11-5 lead over Doc's after the 4th. McCoy would then hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the 5th as Pitches Be Trippin extended their lead 14-5 after the fifth. Doc's finally got back on the scoreboard in the top of the 6th as they scored two runs on a fielder's choice. Pitches Be Trippin continued to add on in the bottom of the 6th as they scored four runs on RBI singles by Perretti and McCoy and a walk as they now led 18-7 going into the seventh. Doc's would go down in order in the 7th as they fall to Pitches Be Trippin 18-7.
Game 4: Palz Tap House vs Doc's Irish Pub
After Doc's Irish Pub went down 1-2-3 in the top of the 1st. Palz Tap House came up and scored three runs in the bottom of the 1st on a two-run homer by Tommy Jacob and a fielder's choice to take a 3-0 lead after the first. Doc's would tie the game in the top of the 2nd on RBI singles by AJ Bhagushinski and Chip Margiotta and an RBI double by Sam Matos. The tie would not last long as Palz added one run in the bottom of the 2nd on an RBI single by Jordan Cohen as Palz took a 4-3 lead after the second. Doc's would retake the lead in the top of the 3rd on an RBI single by Matt Fronheiser and an RBI triple by Paul Elliot to take a 5-4 lead after the third. Doc's would extend their lead in the top of the 4th as they scored three more runs on RBI singles by Ryan Black and Joe Giampietro. Palz would answer in the bottom of the 4th with four runs on RBI single by Justin Gutierrez and an RBI double by Jacob to tie the score again 8-8 after the fourth. Doc's would then answer again as they scored five runs in the top of the 5th on an RBI single by Lord, RBI double by Matos, two-run homer by Kyle Budynkiewicz and a sac fly to take a 13-8 lead after the fifth. Doc's would start to pull away in the top of the 6th as they scored another six runs on an RBI triple by Lord, a grand slam by Budynkiewicz and a sac fly. Palz would get some runs back in the bottom of the 6th as they scored five runs on a pair of homers by Cohen and Jacob as they trimmed their deficit to 19-13 heading into the 7th. Palz held Doc's scoreless in the top of the 7th to give them a shot for a big inning comeback. After a leadoff walk, Palz went down in order. Doc's Irish Pub holds off Palz Tap House 19-13.
