Cobra Kai vs The Yard

This heavyweight out had a strange arch as the Kai would mop the floor with the Yard in Game One, badly (19-4). Jake Haber would homer twice. The Kai would post 7 runs in two different innings. The Yard struggled to get runners on base. Game two flipped - and now it was the Yard posting a big third inning. 15 batters would come to the plate and 10 came in for a run. Poore and Girin each would put one over the fence as the Yard won, 16-8. Game three… well, it wasn’t much of a game. It would only go 5 innings, and the Kai would only see 5 batters get on base. And score zero runs. Hard to win if you don’t score. The Yard had no problems pushing runs in, scoring 8 in the 2nd inning, and 15 overall. Congratulations to the Yard, your 2025 Summer Friday Mens League Champions of the World. Can they repeat in the fall, earning themselves a 3-peat hoody? Stay tuned.
