Game 1: Philly Junk vs. Bird Gang

PJ bats around in the top of the first to score nine runs on a lot of singles, and a Tom Ivers double. BG answers with four runs in the bottom of the first on singles, and a Pat M double. PJ adds three runs in the top of the second. Back to back RBI doubles by James M and Pat M net BG two runs in the bottom of the second. Pat Kelley and Evan Porter blast homers for PJ in the top of the third. Shane Hanna jacks a three run homer for PJ as six runs cross the plate in the top of the fourth. Pat M rips a two run double for BG in the bottom of the fourth. Philly Junk takes the first game easily, 24-8.

Game 2: Bird Gang vs. Philly Junk

Singles lead to three runs for BG in the top of the first. PJ takes the lead in the bottom of the first on five runs thanks to walks and singles. Pat M smokes an RBI double for BG in the top of the second. PJ puts up six runs in the bottom of the second thanks to a Brandon Birkhead RBI triple, and a three run homer by Vinny Catagnus. BG plates five runs in the top of the third with singles. PJ scores three runs in the bottom of the third with an RBI double by Shane Hanna, and an Evan Porter two run homer. Casey Clauss blasts a leadoff homer in for PJ in the bottom of the fourth. In the bottom of the fifth Shane Hanna, Evan Porter, and Vinny Catagnus all blast back to back to back homers for PJ in the bottom of the fifth. Philly Junk wins the second game, 19-12, and the fall A chip. Congrats to Philly Junk!

Game 1: Candlewyck vs. Plumstead Swingers

Candlewyck takes the early lead in the top of the first with four runs on singles. PS answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. Matt Mannino smokes an RBI double for PS in the bottom of the second. Candlewyck adds three runs on singles in the top of the third. PS pushes three runs across in the bottom of the third thanks to back to back doubles by Ian Nolan and Gabe Mc. Candlewyck plate four runs in the top of the fifth thanks to singles, and a solo homer by Cory Carlen. PS uses singles to score three runs in the bottom of the sixth. Candlewyck bats around in the top of the seventh to pick up eight runs with a Jake Pendazin two run triple, and a two run homer by Kyle Pendazin. PS rallies for three runs in the bottom of the seventh on singles. Candlewyck wins the first game, 21-14.

Game 2: Plumstead Swingers vs. Candlewyck

PS gets on the board in the top of the second with two runs. Candlewyck bats around in the bottom of the second to pick up nine runs with singles, and homers by Cory Carlen and Gabe Tarant. Chad Rousseau rips a two run double for PS in the top of the fourth. Candlewyck plates six runs in the bottom of the fourth thanks to singles, and triples by Jon Hickman and Marc McKinney. Candlewyck finishes this game in the bottom of the fifth on four runs thanks to doubles by Marc McKinney and Jake Pendazini. Candlewyck wins the second game in only five innings, 21-6, and takes the B South fall title. Congrats to Candlewyck!
