Mayhem starts out slow and doesn't score until the 4th with a 3 run homer from Derek Strowhouer. Gabagools put up 10 in the same. Erik Bowren homers annd doubles, and Erik Katz homers for Gabagools. Mayhem scores 1 in the 6th with a solo shot from Bryce Hoagey. Gabagools answer with 3 more, Bowren doubling and Eric Katz homering. Mayhem, needing 8 to tie and 9 to take the lead in the top of the 7th, threaten with 3 men on and a Harry Steglich grand slam, but they sputter after that and fall short. Gabagools win, 13-8.
Game 2: 3rd seed Did We Win? vs 4th seed Cheaters
Cheaters get 1 across in the 1st after Kyle Exner doubles and scores. They'll add 11 more in the 2nd after batting around. Exner doubles again, Eric Cusano homers, and Rob Tompkinson homers. Did We Win? remains silent through 2. Cheaters bat around again in the 3rd scoring 9. Matt Kovaleski doubles along with Exner. Did We Win? gets on the board in the bottom of the 3rd with 7 runs. Joe Bisceglie doubles in 2, Keith Halili doubles, Bill Coles doubles in 2, and Ryan Cullen doubles. Cheaters don't score in the 4th, but Did We Win? puts up 4. Cheaters add 3 in the top of the 5th with Kovaleski doubling again. They'll add 3 more runs in the top of the 6th with a 3-run homer from Jake Longmore. Did We WIn? needs a bunch in the bottom of the 6th, and with time running out, they only score 4. Cheaters win in 6 due to time, 27-15.
Game 3: 3rd seed Muckdogs vs 4th seed Gabagools
Gabagools get none in the 1st but 3 in the 2nd. Anthonly LaCorte doubles. Muckdogs get 1 in the 1st and 1 in the 2nd. Evan Grzymkowski triples to lead them off in the 1st. Gabagools add 4 more in the 3rd. Tommy Salami doubles along with Jake Steinberg and Erik Bowren, each collecting an RBI. Muckdogs take a 13-7 lead in the bottom of the 4th with a 7 run effort. Grzymkowski doubles, Ryan Hamilton homers, and Trent Fisher doubles. Gabagools add 1 in the 5th and 1 in the 6th with a double from Anthony LaCorte. Muckdogs get an insurance run in the bottom of the 6th. Needing 5 to tie and 6 to take a lead, Gabagools threaten with a nobody out 2 run blast from Erik Bowren, but then they fizzle out. MuckDogs win, 14-11.
