Game #1 – Dirty Balls vs. Wehrung’s
Dirty Balls will get on the board first with a run on a fielder’s choice from Tim Frei. Balls will grab two more in the second inning with a Brie DeYoung RBI triple and Josh Carl RBI single as they lead 3-0 after two. Wehrung’s start quiet and get nothing the first two innings. Wehrung’s will get on the board with five runs in the third on RBI singles from Doug Moninghoff, Ryan Hines and Cindy Snyder. Asa Cooper also adds two runs on a triple in the inning. Wehrung’s got three runs in the fourth, two coming from a Sam Caldron single as they lead 8-5 after four innings of play. We have a scoreless fifth inning before Dirty Balls take over in the sixth inning. Carl will knock in two runs on a single, Mark Rothenberger will knock in two runs on a double, and Tim Frei delivers the big shot with a three-run bomb as they lead 13-8. Balls will tack on some insurance runs in the seventh as they will roll late and take this one easy. Dirty Balls win 20-8.

Game #2 – Altek vs. Knuckleheads
Altek will come out with a bang grabbing nine runs right out of the gate. Kevin Cwikla and Brandon Smith both smash two run homers followed by a Chase Hensman two run triple. Scott Flaherty will bring in a run on a single, and Chris Lento will bring in a run on a double. Knuckleheads will answer back with six runs of their own in the bottom of the inning. Jon Poore brings in a run on a sac fly followed by a John Erb two run homer. Wayne Horger will bring in two runs on a double as well. Ryan Hensman gets one run back in the second on a sac fly from Ryan Hensman. We will stand tied until the fourth when Altek takes the lead on a Nick Cataldi solo homer. Altek get two more runs in the top of the fifth to go up 13-10, but here comes Knuckleheads for six runs. Erb will drive in two more runs with a double and Mike Monarch and Jamie Burns bring in runs on singles. Altek will send this one back in their favor with five runs in the seventh. Tony Luizza and Brandon Smith drive in runs on singles. Knuckleheads will get one run in the bottom of the inning, but they would fall just short and lose this one. Altek wins 18-17.

Game #3 – Bat Intentions vs. GFP
The last game of the night was really over before it even got started. Bat Intentions could only manage two runs on the night from a Tom Baranuskas solo homer and fielder's choice from Carly Levin. GFP was a different story as they scored 17 in only five innings, without even recording an out in the fifth inning. Alex Freeman drew two walks and smashed a solo homer, while Tess Frelick brought in two runs on two singles. Phil Lipton also went 3/3 with three singles and 5 RBI's. This game was all GFP and they move on to play in the championship next week.
