Game #1 – Altek vs. GFP

GFP will get this championship series started with five runs out of the gate. Ian Cuozzo, Billy Brancato and Lissa Tercha all bring in runs on singles, while Mark Cooper brings in a run on a double. Altek will get on the board in the second with a Jared Taylor RBI single and Chris Lento sac fly. Alex Freeman will get another run on a double to make this a 6-2 game. We fast forward to the fourth after a great defensive inning from both teams. GFP will add five more runs. Adam Lightkep and Stephanie Thrasher bring in runs on singles, and Freeman will bring in two runs on a triple. Brian Dart smashes a two run bomb in the sixth to make this a 11-8 game, but GFP will tack on a few more insurance runs on a Tess Frelick RBI single and Adam Lightkep RBI double. GFP and the nonnenantor at short will shut the rest down defensively and win this one. GFP wins 13-8.

Game #2 – GFP vs. Altek

GFP will start this second game off with two runs right out of the gate, as they are eyeing up a Fall Chip. Chase Luxton and Bill Brancato bring in the two runs on back-to-back RBI triples. GFP will get shut down in the second inning, but then bring in six runs in the third on an RBI single from Thrasher, two run single from Freeman and three run triple from Brancato. Altek are really struggling in this one as they can’t put up any runs across the first four innings. GFP will smash it in the fourth and put up a total of 11 runs. Cuozzo will bring in another two runs on a double, while Nonemacher-a-nator brings in a run on a single. The Coop will also bring in a run on a double. Altek will finally get on the board in the fifth inning, but that is all they have in this one. Dart and Smith help with RBI singles in the inning, but this game would end early due to mercy rule. GFP wins 19-4.
