Game #1 – Carroll’s Jewelers vs. Wackers
John Zeits gets the party started for Carroll’s in the top of the first with a two-run single. Wackers will respond with a run of their own in the bottom of the inning on a solo bomb off the bat of Doubles Noneeennmacher. Wackers will tie it in the second inning with an RBI single from Jenn Sevitski. Wackers will keep it going in the third getting two more runs on a sac fly from Chase Luxton and RBI double from Lissa Tercha. Carroll’s continue to struggle at the plate and continue to put up goose eggs in the middle and later innings. Homers continue to pace the Wackers in this one as Chase Luxton goes yard for a two run shot and Alex Freeman a three run shot. Jay Pane and Tercha will pick up late RBI’s as they will cruise to a mercy winning victory. Freeman hits for the cycle! Wackers win 17-2.

Game #2 – Knuckleheads vs. Carroll’s
Knuckleheads come out swinging looking for much of the success that Wackers found in the first game. John Schofield and John Kiefer had RBI singles to give them the early 2-0 lead. Knuckleheads will get two more runs in the second with an RBI triple from Casey Apt and an L Wood fielder’s choice. Carroll’s will get back on the board and grab a run on a John Zeits sac fly. Knuckleheads add four more runs across the next couple of innings. Jose Rodriguez goes yard with a solo shot in the fourth. Kiefer will add two more runs on a single in the fifth as they pump their lead up to 11-1. Carroll’s will put up a little bit of fight in the seventh grabbing three runs on a couple of sac flies and a Sarah Yoos RBI single, but they put themselves in a hole and will fall in this one. Knuckleheads win 12-4.

Game #3 – Knuckleheads vs. Poco’s
Knuckleheads get rolling in their second game of the night with two runs on a Jose Rodriguez two run bomb. Poco’s will bat around and get eight runs in the bottom of the inning. Eric Shade had a two run double, whileKris Eve, Lauren Dogruste and Brett Anker had RBI singles. Bill Hammel also had a two run double in the inning. Knuckleheads get two more runs in the second on a Matt Bookheimer single. Poco’s will grab two more runs in the second, one on a Tyler Stone RBI single. Kiefer grabs a couple more runs on a single as he continues his hot hitting night. Poco’s batted around for the second time of the night this time grabbing seven more runs. Hammel smashed a three run homer, while Anker and Dogruste had RBI singles. Knuckleheads come alive late with eight runs across the fifth and sixth inning. Kiefer adds two more RBI’s while Rodriguez and Poore both also have two RBI’s each. They will make it close, but will fall in a tough game. Poco’s win 19-15.
