Game 1: The Commission dba Silly Boys vs King's Corner
Commish gets 2 in the 1st and Kings Corner plates 5. Chris Beatty goes deep for Kings Corner, while Mat Crowell and Chris Knechel both double, and Justin Miller triples. Commish take the lead back with 4 in the 2nd. Ben Razzi doubles. Kings Corner retakes the lead in the bottom of the 2nd with 8 runs. Beatty homers again along with Justin Miller. Commish chip away at the 13-4 deficit by scoring 5 in the top of the 3rd. Razzi doubles again. Kings Corner gets 1 in the bottom of the 3rd with Mike Capacchione's double. They'll add 2 more in the bottom of the 4th with Sean Nonnemacher's double and Beatty's triple. Commish make it a close game, 16-13, in the top of the 5th with Jon Motts whacking a triple and Brendan Parker going deep over the fence. Kings Corner score an insurance run in the bottom of the 6th on Crowell's double. Needing 4 to tie and 5 to win, Commish get a double out of Tom Rider but leave him stranded. King's Corner wins, 17-13.
Game 2: Calcium Cannons vs Philly Junk
Philly Junk score 17 in the 1st 3 innings. Tom Ivers, Pat Kelley, and Cody Runner all double (Kelley twice). Kelley, Mike Bitterlich, and KC Ingram all homer TWICE EACH in the 1st 3 innings. On the other side of the page, Calcium Cannons score 2 in the 1st 3 innings, and just 1 in the 4th. Philly Junk closes out the 4th with 8 more runs, a third homer from Kelley, a triple from Bitterlich, and 25-3 win.
Game 3: Shake-N-Bake vs Wire2Wire Sports Podcast
Shake-N-Bake plates 1 in the 1st and 3 in the 3rd. Mike Ianeri triples. Meanwhile, Wire2Wire score 30 in 3 innings. Brian Dart goes 4 -4 with a grand slam and 2 doubles. Alex Freeman matches Dart with his own line of 4-4 with 2 doubles and homer. Brandan Bozek doubles Eric Dillon doubles twice. Sean "Preppie" Butrica is a perfect 3-3 with a walk and a double. Brett Anker doubles and Ben Vitelli is a perfect 4-4 with a double and 5 RBIs. Wire2Wire take this one easily, 30-4.
Game 4: Dingers vs To Be Determined
TBD opens the game up with 8 runs in the 1st and 2 in the 2nd. Steven Gebre homers, and Collin Sheehan and Alex Marcella both double. Dingers plate 2 in the bottom of the 2nd and never score again while TBD adds 9 more in the last 2 innings. Gebre homers and Sheehan doubles again, along with Jimmy Wiegers. TBD wins in 5, 19-2.
