Game #1 – Wehrung’s vs. Carrolls Jewelers

Wehrungs will get rolling in the second with nine total runs. This was thanks to two separate three run homers by Luke Hendricks and Wyatt Schilling. Sammy Calderon had an RBI single and Lowell Snyder drew a bases loaded walk to add another run. Carrolls had added two runs across the first two innings with a Kyle Gallagher RBI single and Brian Sauers solo bomb. Wehrung’s will have another big inning in the third pushing another six runs across. Calderon and Snyder go back to back with doubles to score three, while Cindy Snyder knocks in two runs on a single. Carrolls won’t go away as they continue to fight in this one. Greg Lesher and Gallagher go back to back with homers, while Kelly Gallagher knocks in a run on a single. In the fifth, Bill Shipe knocks in two runs on a two run bomb crushed in the woods at Hatfield. Wehrungs would hold on in the end as the early runs they had put up will hold up. Wehrungs win 16-10.

Game #2 – The Sillies vs. Quality Landscapes

The SIllies will get rolling with five runs right out of the gate. George Slawter started it with an RBI double followed by a two run single from Jess McCory and RBI single from Chuck Mastrogela. Quality would grab three runs back in the bottom of the inning. Daniel McCusker delivered the big shot with a two run bomb into the trees. Sillies will grab two more runs in the second on a sac fly from Kevin Johnson and RBI single from Josh Owens. Sillies would look to control this game grabbing two more runs across the third and fourth. Kevin Johnson got hot at the plate and smashed a solo bomb. Sillies will add on one more run late on an RBI single from Andy Yurkanin to give them a tenth run as their defensive game is on point today. Sillies win 10-4.
