Game 1: Saints & Sinners vs. Tight Mitts

Tight Mitts wins by FORFEIT

Game 2: Saints & Sinners vs. Bird Gang

SAS bats around in the top of the first to plate seven runs on singles, and a triple by Sean Nonemacher. BG gets on the board with two runs in the bottom of the third. Mark Rothenberger blasts a three run homer for BG in the bottom of the fourth. SAS scores two runs in the top of the sixth on singles. Mark Rothenberger jacks a grand slam for BG in the bottom of the seventh. SAS puts up three runs in the top of the eighth on singles. BG rallies for four runs in the bottom of the eighth with James McLaughlin smashing a game winning two run homer. Bird Gang walks it off over Saints & Sinners, 14-13.

Game 3: Bird Gang vs. Philly Junk

BG gets a run in the top of the first. KC Ingram rips an RBI double for PJ as a three runs cross the plate in the bottom of the second. PJ scores three runs in the bottom of the third thanks to a Pat Kelley double, and a triple by Tom Ivers. PJ scores six runs in the bottom of the fourth with homers by Pat Kelley and Evan Porter. BG adds two runs in the top of the fifth. BG rallies for four runs in the top of the seventh on singles, and a Jason McLaughlin RBI double. Philly Junk gets by Bird Gang, 13-9.

Game 4: Silverbacks vs. Philly Junk

Pat Kelley jacks a two run homer for PJ in the bottom of the first. PJ scores four runs in the bottom of the second on singles. The Silverbacks get on the board in the top of the third with a run. PJ bats around in the bottom of the fourth to pick up six runs thanks to homers by Pat Kelley, Brandon Birkhead, and Adam W. Back to back doubles by Carlos Gonzalez and Jamal Covington help the Silverbacks add two runs in the top of the fifth. The Silverbacks plate a run in the top of the sixth. PJ pushes three runs across in the bottom of the sixth with a two run double by Shane Hanna. Philly Junk makes quick work of the Silverbacks, 19-4.

Game 5: Doom Cats vs. Dirty Dozen

A leadoff triple by Jay Stein nets DC a run in the top of the first. DD puts up four runs on back to back doubles by Todd Gibson and Connie G. DC puts up four runs in the top of the third thanks to doubles by Jay Stein and Justin Knapp, and a Mike B RBI triple. DD plates five runs in the bottom of the fifth on singles, a Shawn P RBI double, and a two run triple by Todd Gibson. DC bats around in the top of the sixth to plate four runs on walks, singles, and a Brian Biglin RBI double. Brian Dart smokes an RBI double for DD in the bottom of the sixth. Dirty Dozen tops the Doom Cats, 13-10.

B South

Groveland

Game 1: Bats All Folks vs. Candlewyck

Candlewyck takes the early lead with five runs in the bottom of the first on singles, and a two run triple by Kevin Noore. Walks net BAF two runs in the top of the first. BAF adds a run in the top of the second. Tyler Hoeksema jacks a two run homer for Candlewyck in the bottom of the third. A leadoff double by Jack Stoops nets a run for BAF in the top of the fifth. Candlewyck scores five runs in the bottom of the fifth on singles, and a double by Jake P. Candlewyck beats up on Bats All Folks, 17-4.

Game 2: Candlewyck vs. Balls of Fury

Candlewyck gets four runs in the top of the first on singles. BOF bats around in the bottom of the first to score eight runs on walks and singles. Candlewyck puts up four runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI doubles by Gabe Tirante and Jake P. BOF picks up two runs in the bottom of the fourth. Candlewyck puts up seven runs in the top of the fifth thanks to singles, and doubles by Dave Graves, Kyle P, Jake P, and Kevin Noone. Candlewyck pushes eight runs across in the top of the seventh on walks, singles, and a John H RBI double. Candlewyck out slugs Balls of Fury, 25-10.

Game 3: Balls of Fury vs. Christian Clout Chasers

Joe Coffin smokes an RBI double for CCC in the bottom of the first. Singles lead to four runs for CCC in the bottom of the second. Joe Coffin and Nate Evans smash solo homers for CCC in the bottom of the third. Four runs come in for CCC in the bottom of the fourth with back to back doubles by Kevin Brough and Anthony Rivera. BOF can’t get the offense going. The Christian Clout Chasers shut out Balls of Fury, 19-0.
